Above and Beyond Studios focuses on creating authentic wedding films that feel true to the day you experienced. Whether you choose solo or duo coverage, their friendly approach allows you to enjoy the celebrations while they document everything from the big moments to the interactions you might otherwise miss. Their current packages include both 10-hour and 14-hour coverage options, with custom packages also available.
You also receive plenty to revisit after the celebrations. Wedding packages include a next-day one-minute highlight video plus a vertical version ready to share on social media. Packages also include full ceremony and speeches edits, 4K quality, a consultation and online delivery, while selected options include drone footage.

About
I became passionate about videography while studying Multimedia at Griffith University. Ever since, I worked on numerous short films, feature films and music videos. When it was time for me to start my own videography business, I saw weddings as a great sector to financially launch from. I've been doing so for 8 years now and thoroughly enjoying it. I try to add a cinematic flare to all my wedding videos, so book me quick before I move back into commercials, films and music videos!

Unlike a lot of wedding video companies, we still do all of our editing in-house. Meaning you have full control over the entire editing experience.
The people who shoot your wedding are the same ones that edit your wedding.
No, we'll never ask for any extra money from you. The cost of the package is it.

Above and Beyond weddings was set up to focuses on the wedding industry. Since we also offer photography, the name became confusing.

Motion of Video is still running as a video production company that produces commercials and real estate video.
We try and be as hands off as possible - so you feel natural in front of the camera. We'll only spectifically direct on a few occassions. A fun party-like atmosphere is our goal. The smiles naturally follow from there.

We work with two shooters on the "Duo" package and a single shooter for the "single" and "half day single" on every wedding. With our experience, we've constructed efficient processes and systems that allow us to never miss a moment and provide the best possibilty value to our clients.

What's the best way to go about live streaming our wedding? How does it work? Would the videographer do it or do we need to organise an app or something?
How long should it typically take for a videographer to return the final product?
My sister got married two years ago, and it took almost 6 months for her videographer to return the video of her wedding. I want a videographer at my wedding, but I'm scared it'll take the same amount of time to come back. Is 6 months normal to wait for your wedding video?

Hi Louisa,
6 months is much too long. The maximum length you should EVER expect to wait is 2 months (and that's pretty poor service). A good wedding videography company will have your videos finished and sent in 3-6 weeks max. The later being reserves for ambitious weddings videos with a complex idea, ergo a lot of drafts and re-edits are needed.

Above And Beyond Weddings
A videographer is definitely needed if you want decent audio and zooming capabilities.
A lapel mic on the groom or audio feed out of the microphone is essential. This audio needs to be monitored and adjusted with either the camera preamps or a sound mixer, to avoid peaking or soft audio.
A zoom lens is also important. Wide for moments where there are multiple personal on screen and close for those emotional moments between the bride and groom.
A phone might not have enough zoom capabilities (or will pixelate), which would be frustrating for the viewers.
The main reason to get a videographer in my opinion is the audio. So your viewers of the stream can clearly hear those all important vows, songs and laughs. If it isn’t done properly it becomes fairly unwatchable after patience has been worn.
