We have an indoor Dining Space over looking the Mountains, or our Cosy Reception Lounge (with a fire for winter!)
Hi You are quite right to raise this question, because as lovely as your outdoor venue is, we cannot, unfortunately, control the weather. Many B&Gs choose Faversham House for the gorgeous house backdrop that we offer for weddings on our terrace lawn. We advise to budget for a marquee - our supplier has a lovely clear one that can accommodate fairy lights and STILL have the house visible - and if they don't need it, well there's that money now to add to the honeymoon or house fund. It's much better to plan for worst case scenario and not have to stress. Our lovely supplier lets us confirm up to 10 days out, so we get the best opportunity to save costs.
It is alway better to choose a venue with a wet weather option, as thereis no need for added stress if the weather was to turn
Hi There,
At Beach Road Wines we have two huge heated alfresco areas that are under cover and fitted with blinds that can be pulled down in the event of bad weather.
Either of these spaces could be set up for a ceremony if the weather was that bad that the vineyard couldn't be used as the wedding isle.
I hope this helps,
Jo Locke

Weather is just one of those things you can’t control, but you can plan for it.
Choosing a venue with wet weather options will save you stress, worry and often money.
The Italian Byron Bay is an indoor venue and our courtyard where we hold small functions and our plan b ceremonies is heated, covered and has blinds that can be pulled down in the event of bad weather.
Always have ave a plan B!
