In our experience we have found that most couples have their Wedding Ceremony in the late afternoon. They usualy begin their ceremony at 6pm so that it allows enough time in between the ceremony and the reception to have your photgraphs taken and give you plenty of time to freshen up and take a moment for you and your partner. We find that receptions that start at 6pm are perfect as the food will generally follow within an hour after your arrival, just as your guests start to become hungry.

A 6pm recreption start time is also great as it gives you plenty of time to enjoy the evening. Most venues start to close at 12am.

I hope this information was helpful!

Reception is on average 5 - 6 hours long, depending on the time of year you book and where you book.

We do also have a 5 hour (ceremony and reception) option for the smaller intimate weddings that don't want to spend a day at the venue and are looking for a more economical wedding option.
