How do we find the best venue?

Do we have to VISIT all of them, or is there a way to see them, or a virtual tour or something?

We highly recommend visiting the venues, this gives you the opportunity to meet your wedding coordinator and ensure you have the same vision for your day. Seeing the venue in person means you can invision where everything will be & how the room will be set up.

It really depends on what style of wedding you like - do you want a small intime wedding seated, or a large party with a cocktail style reception?! :)

It's worth contacting a few venues in the location/area of your choice to request their wedding/function packages - these will give you a great first impression about the style and price of offerings.

Once you find a few venues you like, we'd recommend to contact their Function Teams and organise a time to meet - this way you can see the venue, can ask questions and check available dates.

Bonjour,

Congratulations on your engagement!

I always suggest to family & friends that the best way to start looking for your venue is to define 3 -4 "must haves". These could include service ratios, water views, ceremony locations, budget etc.

When you start going for site inspections make a shortlist of around 5 venues, I would suggest going into the venues as well. Photos can be out dated or used to show the venues desired perspective. Take your partner, or someone else who has your idea in mind, so that you can get another perspective as well.

Good luck in finding a venue for your Special day!

Hi,

Congratulations on your engagement. I would suggest reading the wedding kits prior to making a shortlist. Work out what's really important to you, pricing, amount of guests, style of venue and then create a shortlist :)

I would suggest booking tours of the venue in advance, I would love to show you around "Figs on Sylvan" when you're free.

Kindest Regards - Belinda.
