How does the Bonfire Station Microbrewery tie in?

Our rustic bar is fully staffed for your wedding weekend, open from 12pm to 11pm each night. We’ll work with you to create a bar experience that suits your celebration perfectly.

Proudly brewed onsite, Bonfire Station Microbrewery has been handcrafting beer for over 15 years. You and your guests will enjoy a seasonal selection of our house-made beers, with something for every palate - from hoppy to malty, hazy to creamy, and everything in between (even something for your uncle who swears by Carlton Dry!).

In addition to our beers, we also offer our popular house-made ciders, as well as a thoughtfully curated selection of local wines and spirits, ensuring there’s something for everyone to raise a glass with.

We’re flexible with bar packages and can tailor the setup to suit your needs, preferences, and budget.

We truly believe your wedding should be more than just a few hours, it deserves a whole weekend of celebration! Our most popular option is the two-night weekend wedding, giving you the time and space to truly relax, connect, and make memories with your family and friends.

Here’s what a typical weekend looks like:

Friday - Arrive in the afternoon or evening and settle in with your closest friends and loved ones. Enjoy a relaxing night before the big day and wake up refreshed and ready.

Saturday - Spend the morning getting ready and adding the final touches with your family and friends. Then, enjoy your once-in-a-lifetime ceremony at the location of your choice. Afterward, head to our reception area to kick off the celebrations. Soak up the atmosphere in our rustic bar and expansive beer gardens. End the night gathered around the bonfire before retreating to bed.

Sunday - Enjoy a relaxed recovery breakfast and soak in those final moments with your guests before heading off with your heart full and your head buzzing with unforgettable memories.

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding venue than Bonfire Station. We had our ceremony and reception here in November 2025, and we truly had the best day of our lives thanks to this stunning venue and the team. Bonfire has the most breathtaking views of the Cathedral Ranges, beautiful open spaces, convenient onsite accommodation, and a relaxed atmosphere that our guests loved. The lakeside ceremony location was gorgeous, and the fire later in the evening created a great space to socialise during the breaks from dancing the barn. Florine and the entire team were exceptional. Communication in the lead-up was seamless, and on the day the staff made sure everything ran smoothly and that we and our guests were extremely well looked after, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy the day. The food was outstanding. We chose the Texas BBQ package, and guests are still raving about both the quality and quantity of the food (second helpings, yes please)! We couldn’t recommend Bonfire Station enough for anyone wanting a stunning venue and a relaxed, unforgettable wedding day.

Bonfire Station was nothing short of perfect. The staff were incredibally helpful and went out of their way to make our day run soomthly. The scenery and facilities were beautiful and we loved being able to put our own touch on the venue with decorating. Bonfire Station The Most Magical, Fun-Filled Wedding Weekend! We cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Bonfire Station in Taggerty. The venue is absolutely stunning, homely, welcoming, and beautifully set with fire pits, warm lights, lawn games, and the most incredible bar and beers. From the moment we arrived, the place felt like our own private playground for the weekend. The staff were phenomenal. Every person was friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to be around. We felt completely looked after while still having the freedom to make the weekend uniquely ours. On Friday night, we gathered our friends and family for a spit roast and made full use of the BBQ and kitchen area — the perfect start to an unforgettable weekend. We’d planned a full itinerary of fun, and Bonfire Station was the perfect place to bring it to life. We set up individual challenges for each guest, plus bonus challenges hidden around the venue, which instantly set the tone for a playful, adventurous couple of days. On Saturday morning, we fired up the BBQ again for breakfast, followed by a beautiful fruit platter and mimosas for lunch. Then we brought everyone together at the outdoor dining area for one of the best parts of the day: the spin wheel, with every guest’s name on it. While everyone watched the wheel spin — choosing our front-row seats and even our witnesses — we quietly slipped away to hide in the plantation where our ceremony would take place. Our guests then had to follow clues scattered around the property to find us before 3 pm… or else we “weren’t getting married”! Luckily, everyone rose to the challenge and found us just in time, making it one of the most fun and memorable ceremony entrances imaginable. From there, the wedding day was perfect. Even with our loose plans and vague timelines, the staff made everything run smoothly. The dinner pizzas were delicious, and the late-night chips were an absolute hit — such a great touch! A special shoutout to Flo, who was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so kind, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day special. She even drove us up to the top of the hill at golden hour for the most magical and fun photo shoot — a highlight we’ll never forget. Honestly, we’re half-tempted to get married again just to relive the weekend! Our guests absolutely loved every moment and completely fell in love with the venue. Thank you so much to Flo and the entire Bonfire Station team — we are so grateful for everything you did. You made this weekend unforgettable in every way.

Regional, no sound curfew venue

Hey there, We're looking for a regional venue in Victoria that will allow us to play music until late until the night, ideally staying from Friday until Monday, with a recovery day on the Sunday. BYO alcohol would be amazing, but not essential. Accommodation at the venue would be great too (ideally sleeping at least 14 with accommodation available in the surrounding area for 100 or so guests).

Hi, here are a few points that might help you decide if Bonfire Station could be the right fit for you:

Country Victoria: Bonfire Station is a wedding and events venue set on a 1,000-acre family farm of rolling pastures and bushland, located about 90 minutes north-east of Melbourne.

Exclusive weekend celebration: You can book the venue for your wedding weekend — arrive Friday and celebrate on Saturday (ceremony, reception and party). We open our beer garden on Sunday afternoons, so the space is shared with our regular guests. However, you’re very welcome to stay onsite or explore the region and enjoy an extra night before leaving Monday.

On-site accommodation: We have accommodation onsite for up to 50 guests. There are also plenty of nearby accommodation options, including the Big4 Holiday Park in Taggerty, just a couple of minutes’ drive away.

Music: From 11pm, guests who are not staying onsite are required to leave the property, and music must be turned down to ambient levels.

Bar: We are a licensed venue (no BYO allowed) with a fully stocker bar, serving our own beers and ciders, and we can tailor bar packages to suit your celebration.
