About

Simon and Maaike are continuing to work on the Sittella “dream project”. Soon they will embark on building a wine bar and plan to extend their sparkling wine production and facilities. With their son Yuri now graduated from Curtin University in viticulture and oenology and also working as a winemaker, their direction seems to go one way only: forward, striving for higher standards and good quality.

Stars – A Dream Wedding Come True at Sittella Winery We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at Sittella Winery, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the very beginning, the team seemed to read our minds – they just got what we wanted without us even having to explain every detail. The location itself is absolutely stunning – lush, romantic, and incredibly photogenic. We received endless compliments from our guests, not only about the breathtaking setting but also about the amazing food. Sittella was our perfect wedding venue. From the beautiful well kept grounds to reception area offering undercover seating with the feel of being outdoors protected by the elements. Communication in the lead-up to the day was perfect, with no questions asked being too much. On the day, no on the day planner was required as the team are so efficient at setting up and packing down everything as required. Guests complimented the quality of food, and service couldn’t have been better, with wait staff constantly topping up drinks and checking on guests. Sittella couldn’t have been anymore more perfect and we would definitely recommend to others.

We had our wedding two weeks ago at Sittella and it was amazing! All our guests loved the food and the setup, and we all had a great time. We DIYed quite a few items (eg candles, sign, menus, etc) and sent a photo to show how we would like it set up - Stephanie executed it perfectly. She was very friendly and always answered our emails promptly. Thank you Stephanie, Christine and the team at Sittella!

We fell in love with Sittella as soon as we stepped through the classic gated entryway! We celebrated our wedding at Sittella in February this year, and if we could, we would do it all over again. The venue itself if beautiful, from the picturesque rotunda to the lusciously green vines and the perfectly manicured flower beds. The ceremony space provides the perfect backdrop and the reception area is full of rustic charm. The private function space (the Nest) is such a good feature for the post-ceremony, pre-reception drinks! The guests loved mingling on the lawn and enjoying the view of the surrounding scenery from the Nest balcony. The food and drinks served during our seated dinner were all a hit with our guests, so many people commented on how enjoyable their dining experience was and how attentive the waiting staff were. We had 55 guests attend our wedding and we could have comfortably fit more, without the space feeling too crowded. The large sliding doors in the dining area open into the dancefloor space, which has its own bar (ideal), and it allows guests to easily move around the party, and sit down without feeling as though they will miss out in another room. Stephanie and Christine both helped us so much on the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. They were very responsive to all of our (many) queries about room and table dimensions and recommended layouts and timing of dishes and all of the things. We can't thank them and all of the Sittella staff for helping to create our perfect day.

Destination Wedding

Hi, We are looking at possibly having a destination wedding with between 70-100 people. Can you please send through a list maybe 5-10 venues with the best feedback from previously planned weddings.

Sittella Winery in the Swan Valley www.sittella.com.au/functions and weddings.It is set in the Herne hill part of th valley which is pretty rural. the venue is

surrounded by undulating vineyards, but it is only a 30 min. drive from CBD.

Meal catering for wedding vendors?

Hi there. Wondering if we're supposed to cater meals for our wedding suppliers, and which suppliers are typically included? Need to factor into our budget.

Most suppliers come and leave after setting up.

Possibly meals are for the florist, if the pieces are arranged at the venue and also

the photographer staying on a bit during the reception.
