Can we bring spirits to your venue to have on the tables?

Yes! We allow one 750ml bottle of spirits per table, with no corkage fee.

We love the idea of your courtyard for our wedding ceremony... but what if it rains?

We have a marquee which we can put up for you and your guests which covers the entire courtyard area, so you don't have to worry about a thing!

We have place cards and a wishing well, can we drop these off before the wedding or do we have to come in on the day to set them up?

Of course you can drop these off before your wedding! You will have a dedicated Event Coordinator who can help you and set up your place settings and favours.

Do we get to try the food?

Absolutely! Experience our Group Menu Tasting evenings approximately 3 months prior to your wedding day. You, your partner, and 4 chosen guests can savour our latest menu, ask any questions, sample wines, and make well-informed menu choices. The best part? It's not an additional expense; it's seamlessly integrated into your package, ensuring transparency without hidden costs.

Fantastic venue that I would 100% recommend for any wedding. The venue is so beautifully set up that it really doesn’t require any additional decorations. Coordinated nearly every aspect of the event for us so that we didn’t have to, from the vendors to the setting up, to dealing with presents and left over belongings after. Everybody loved the food as well as how well dietary requirements were catered for. On the actual night service was simply immaculate and seamless. When it was all over we received beautifully packed leftovers and a thoughtful gift. For a stress-free wedding I would definitively recommend Leonda.

From the first meeting, to the wedding day and navigating Covid, Leonda by the Yarra Team exemplifies service excellence. From the Directors to the Waiters, the quality of care is exceptional. We initially selected Leonda because of the food reviews. However, every step of their process made things so seamless, yet, personalised. We had the BEST night in the Garden Room with our guests raving about the food and the excellent service. Thank you so much for making one wedding so dreamy! Special honourable mentions to Zoe!!! Forget the cost, worth every damn penny!

From the initial meeting to after our wedding, Leonda staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Maria is secretly Superwoman working tirelessly to make sure everything is smooth sailing, and she has the most calming voice to make even the most stressed-out bride feel at ease. Dylan ensured our night ran without a hitch and was available to our every request with some sweet personal touches (such as mocktails for the tee-total bride). The food was beyond sensational and all of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was. We are so grateful to have had such a positive experience and would recommend Leonda to anyone.

When in the timeline should we do a father daughter dance?

Thanks so much for this great question!

Most brides have the father-daughter dance right after their first dance with their spouse. But there really is no right or wrong time, your wedding is a day about you, you can choose the timeline that suits you and your partner best. If you don't want to have it after the first dance, other good times to squeeze it in are following the toasts and before the cake cutting.

We want to stock the bar ourselves to save money. Will it?

Leonda By The Yarra

Many of our couples arrange with us to supply their own alcohol for service (especially if there’s a beverage that is special to you and your partner!). We do ask for a minimum number of bottles to be supplied based on guest numbers (don’t worry – anything not used on the night gets returned to you and your family!); as far as cost savings though, in our experience, it isn’t a substantial saver for our couples.
