I always see people throwing rice at weddings, but when I've checked, most venues dont allow this?
so are you allowed or not?

Each venue will be slightly different dpending on their rules and regulations. If you're indoors rice could be a bit of a slipping hazzard. I would suggest bubbles for the guests. It creates a fun atmosphere, makes for amazing photos and is safe!
