Beach Road Wines is a 100% family-owned winery, cellar door and restaurant, with engaging and friendly staff. With fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create gourmet menus, award-winning wines, and a local beer selection, there's sure to be something to please everyone!

If you’re after a more casual affair, enquire about their Wine Garden Weddings. Designed for couples who want a wedding that is really just a party, Wine Garden weddings are a more relaxed atmosphere with non-exclusive use of the venue.  Choose a beverage package or pop a tab on the bar. We have three different wedding packages to select from.  Which offers a variety options for all styles and budgets.  To add to this we also offer three menu options and three beverage packages to select from.

We are also open to discussing any menu ideas you have for your celebration

Beach Road Wines is only 8 minutes from the Main Street of McLaren Vale.  With a variety of fantastic B&B's, Airbnb,the local motel and a fantastic caravan park not too far from our venue. 

We have a list of locals we like to use or get in touch with the Visitors Centre and they will gladly help also

The most stunning reception venue with everything prepared to such a high standard. Every single guest who attended has raved on about the venue, the service and how good the food (and how much of it there was!) was. For what we paid it was genuinely amazing value for money! Our function space was prepared immaculately and our vision for the table decor was executed to absolute perfection!!!! Not sure how to put into words just how STUNNING the ceremony venue is. Our photos had the perfect backdrop no matter where we stood and the wine garden was the perfect intimate space where we felt like we really experienced everything alongside our guests Oh wow, I don’t even know where to begin with the coordinators. Can I rate above 100 for this? Jen and Liz what can I even say. From our first enquiry right until post wedding Jen was nothing short of incredible. Her energy and excitement to be apart of our day made us feel so welcome and at ease and there was no request too difficult, she literally made magic happen. She understood my vision perfectly and along with her team executed every detail to perfection. The fact she went out of her way to be contactable the day before and on the day for anything I needed truly put my mind at ease. And then there’s Liz… pretty sure she’s some sort of wedding wizard or fairy. On the day, there was not a single thing she missed. Even before I had the chance to ask, Liz was right behind me (literally), top up drink in hand. Every step of the way she was there, fluffing my dress, checking in and racing around behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. When I say these amazing women go above and beyond I mean it - to the point my sister forgot her earrings and Liz saved the day with a pair in hand for her to borrow. I cannot thank Jen, Liz and the wonderful team at Beach Road enough for literally making our day perfect and everything we dreamt of. Is it too early for a vow renewal so we can work with you guys again?!

Wow!! Jen and the Beach Road Wines team are incredible and made the 12 months of planning so smooth and easy, and the day itself absolutely PERFECT. Jen made sure to find out our story and what kind of day we wanted. She also suggested every vendor we went with (photo/video, DJ, flowers, cake) who were suited perfectly for us. All of the vendors spoke highly of Jen and the team, which says a lot about them too. Jen removed all stress from the entire process and made it SO MUCH FUN. She also had exceptional attention to detail making sure we were looked after with drinks on arrival, water throughout the night, and a special candlelit dinner for 10mins while we snuck away from everyone for some time together. The team were also perfect on the night and everyone commented on how good the service, the food, the wine, and honestly everything was. We would recommend Jen and the Beach Road Team in a heartbeat :)

Jen at Beach Road Wines was absolutely amazing! She took care of everything as soon as we got there right up until the minute we left our wedding, which allowed us to fully enjoy the day together and not worry about a thing! The Venue is absolutely stunning and our photos looked so wonderful with all of the vines in the back ground. The planning process in the lead up to the wedding was organised so well, it honestly took the stress out of planning for us. Many of our guests complimented the team on how great their pizza and drinks were throughout the night. A massive thank again to Jen and the team at Beach Road Wines for hosting our wonderful Wedding - a day we will never forget!

Beach Road Wines Nailed it in everyway. Venue is stunning, The team is amazing so friendly and kind. They set up all of my decorations better than I could imagine. I was blown way. It did make me happy cry a little. The food was amazing had people tell me all night. I may have had only one bite of pizza but damn it was good. The Ceremony was set up so nicely done with beautiful wooden chairs. The team setup the Flower Arch backdrop and the white bows on the aisle they also setup a cute table to sign the marriage certificate. Ben needed a moment before the ceremony and they supported him the whole time. We looked back on the wedding footage and one of the team members double checked on our mums making sure they were ok which was very sweet of them. It was a very emotional day. All the guests were able to get drinks at both bars one in the reception and one in the ceremony/cocktail hour area. The weather and the vineyards looked breath taking. The sun came in at the perfect time on my husbands face as he was doing his vows. We timed it very well. Also the lighting was perfect for signing the certificate. Jen and her amazing team made the day 100 better than I could even imagine. Jen always went the extra mile on the day and before. Her communication was perfect. She answered any and all questions I had even the small silly ones. On the day we didn't have to think of a thing as it was all set up and sorted. She directed everyone where to go and through of things which didn't even crossed my mind. She made sure we had a parking space at the front. She had a drink in our hands before even having to ask. She made sure that we both were ok before the ceremony. Looking at the wedding footage you see her everywhere getting things done. Communicating to her team and vendors keeping them updated on everything, in the kitchen, talking to family and friends, packing up all my little thing for me making sure I didn't forget anything. So glad we decided to have our special day at Beach Road Wines made the whole process so easy. 10/10 would 1000% recommend.

What's the difference between wedding venue coordinator and a wedding planner?

Hello. I'm wondering, what's the difference between what a wedding venue coordinator does and a wedding planner? And does the venue coordinator do styling or is that separate?

In my experience, an in-house wedding coordinator does the following:

(Please note this is what my venue does, which does not speak for all venues)

  • Advises what set up will work best for the ceremony and reception
  • Helps create a seamless timeline (run sheet) 
  • Sets up and packs down the entire wedding
  • Coordinates all food service within the venue
  • Coordinates staffing for the evening
  • Liaises with all external suppliers ensuring all suppliers are aware of the evenings proceedings and timeline
  • They will be there for the entire wedding, ensuring the vision you and the coordinator have discussed is executed to perfection
  • If there are any issues which pop up, they will tend to immediately and discretely 

The points I believe an in-house wedding coordinator and a wedding planner may double up on, would be:

  • Advises what set up will work best for the ceremony and reception
  • Helps create a seamless timeline (run sheet) 
  • Sets up and packs down the entire wedding
  • Liaises with all external suppliers ensuring all suppliers are aware of the evenings proceedings and timeline
