Can we hold a date?

Yes, we are happy to hold a date for a period of 14 days. If a deposit is not received by the time the hold expires, the date will be released. Contact our venue coordinator now to secure your date.

How do we book?

A booking form must be filled out, signed and returned to functions@credarowines.com. A $1000 deposit will also need to be paid. This is held as a bond deposit for incidentals or damages on the night and will be returned to you after your event.

Do you have a minimum spend?

Yes, we do. The minimum spend for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday is $10,000, with Monday to Thursday being $8,000. The minimum spend is the sum of the the venue hire and the beverage package.

What is your minimum and maximum capacity?

Our liquor licence allows us to host weddings up to 150 guests. There is no minimum guest number, but you will need to meet the minimum spend as explained above. Ask our functions manager for our barrel room package if you are looking for a small and intimate weddings for 50 guests or less.

Can we BYO?

No, our liquor license does not permit BYO. We have three different tiers of beverage packages available for you to choose from to suit your needs that come with a range of non-alcoholic options and beer varieties.

Can we extend our beverage package?

Yes, absolutely. We do have to ensure we comply with our licence though, so last drinks can not be served after 11.30pm. The maximum duration of a beverage package is 7 hours in total. 

Ask our function coordinator about the options for us to serve cocktails and spirits. 

What are your food options?

We don't have an onsite kitchen, but we can refer you to some amazing local caterers, who can set up on the Credaro grounds and have experience doing so. The beauty of having both a catering team and a bar team is that all of your guests will be looked after at all times. Both teams can do what they are good at.

Book your venue with us and pick one of our partner suppliers as your one stop shop for your marquee or tipi, furniture, lighting, dancefloor, florals and styling and one of our recommended caterers that suits your taste. Our partner suppliers have created special offers for Credaro, to ensure you get the best price and book a package that suits our venue with ease.

What happens if it rains?

Unlike many other venues, the Credaro cellar door has a back up venue for your ceremony and pre dinner drinks, to protect your guests against the elements, if we have to. You'll still be able to enjoy our beautiful views from our barrel room and undercover area on the lower lawn.

As we require you to hire a marquee, tipi or other structure for your reception, your guests will always be comfortable, rain, hail or shine.

What time can my wedding start?

When you book your venue with us, you will have exclusive use of the Credaro cellar door grounds from 4pm.  Guests can arrive from 4.00pm, with your ceremony starting at 4.30pm, after which the reception usually commences.
