We encourage guests to arrive 30 minutes before the Ceremony. This allows enough time for everyone to arrive, relax, and enjoy one of our homemade mocktails until the Ceremony begins!
Absolutely you can! You are more than welcome to source arches and other decorations externally and deliver them to us the week of your wedding so we can ensure it is set up in time for your big day.
It's your call! We recommend welcoming guests with home-made mocktails first and saving the boozy fun for the main event, however if this is something you would like to do, we are more than happy to discuss further.
At Clyde Park, we allow dried rose petals to be used throughout your Ceremony, however not fresh petals. Alternatively, we have seen great success in the use of bubbles more recently, which has proved to be a crowd favourite!
Absolutely! We are more than happy for you to bring your fur babies along to be part of your ceremony with you. They will however have to leave at the beginning of your reception.
The best way to get down to the river is by hiring a bus! It's like a party on wheels, shuttling your whole crew in no time. With buses making multiple trips, you won't need too many of them on the big day!
This is dependent on how many guests you have attending. For a larger scale wedding (100 approx.) we encourage to have two 24 seater buses. This allows each bus to do multiple trips each efficiently to ensure all guests arrive at the river safely and on time.
Each journey on the bus to the River and back lasts about 15 minutes. This time covers boarding guests, cruising down, safely disembarking, heading back uphill, and gearing up for the next round!
No there aren’t, but don’t worry, we've got your back! We make sure there's a good gap between your guests arriving and heading to the river spot, so they can hit the restroom without any rush.
We love keeping your guests on their toes by keeping the ceremony location hush-hush! This not only leaves a great surprise for everyone on arrival (!), and guarantees a smooth sail in case of any unexpected changes.
Our standard reception bundle kicks off right after your Ceremony and lasts for 4 hours. Want to keep the party going? See more info below at how to best let the festivities roll on!
Absolutely! If you wish to extend your Reception hours beyond our base level 4 hours, we have addons available for half an hour or an hour time slots at an added price. If you would like to extend, this is something we can discuss further in our planning meetings.
Your chosen band will set up before your guests arrive. This allows their sound check to not interfere with any wedding celebrations, and to also ensure everything is running smoothly before the Ceremony begins.
For food menu items, you have the choice between having an alternate drop (individual) mains service, or a shared mains option. Your Wedding Workbook is a treasure trove of all the scrumptious choices to help you craft your dream menu for your dream day!
Yes we do, we have a ramp leading to our bathroom facilities as well as wheelchair access from the terrace through to the barrel room.
Absolutely. All of our couples are provided with a welcome pack when they book & secure a wedding date with us, that has been crafted by our event experts and includes a wide range of information including recommended suppliers and much more!
If you decide to have your wedding cake made here on site, you have the option of having a minimum of one tier, and a maximum of three! The power is in your hands to sweeten up your big day just the way you want.
Yes you can! You can have one flavour for each tier, or the same flavour for all tiers - the choice is yours!
All of our cakes are made to order onsite by our very talented kitchen wizards. Our team will work closely with you in your cake tasting meeting to ensure you create your dream cake filled with your favourite flavours and have it made ready for your big day.
While we have services available to make your cake onsite for you, couples may opt to source their cake externally - which is completely okay! We do however, have a policy in place that the cake is professionally prepared and delivered by licensed food retailers or a registered food business.
Who gets the golden ticket to the cake tasting? - Anyone your heart desires! It's a family affair for many couples, with parents and grandparents often joining in the sugary fun for a delightful group activity.
