With access to a range of experienced professionals - event manager Rachel Cumming of Cumming Design Studio, and her team of experienced event staff, will plan and coordinate everything you need. Their approach is flexible, collaborative and with a wealth of knowledge - including in-house styling and floral services, an all inclusive package to plan, coordinate and manage your celebration, and the opportunity to select from their list of vendors to suit all budgets.
From your first viewing of the property to the helpful coordination on your wedding day, you will be privy to nothing but excellent support and assistance from the team. With regular updates and planning sessions, the team are committed to keep their couples as relaxed as possible.
With a team of passionate and talented chefs, The Batesford Hotel offers couples a dining experience that will impress every guest. With menu selections ranging from fine dining to in-house casual options, paired with a local wine list and beverages packages, the event team will work closely with each couple to bring their ultimate menu to life - with the opportunity to include local food vendors in the experience.

I began my career in design and styling and have worked in the events industry for 10 years. A highlight of my role is getting to know all our amazing couples and having the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring their ideas to life. I am committed to understanding each couples specific requirements and enjoy the challenge to create a wedding that is unique, elevated and personal to them. I will be there every step of the way to ensure your day is 100% perfect.

You will receive a dedicated event manager that will be there from your initial site inspection to helping you pack your car at the end of your magical day.
Your event manager will help you with your menu choices, floor plans and will work with your suppliers to ensure they know when to bump in, where to set up and when to bump out. Our team will be there to ensure nothing is forgotten and all you need to do is show up and enjoy your day.
The Batesford Hotel can host both intimate and larger weddings, catering for small Micro Weddings with numbers in the 20-40's to much larger events up to 250+. The Pavilion seats up to 130 guests comfortably or 250 standing cocktail-style.
We have a beautiful fully contained event space, The Pavilion, which overlooks the surrounding Pavilion Gardens, the nearby bluestone Batesford Bridge and adjoining Moorabool River. This is the perfect blank-space venue, with vaulted ceilings, surrounding deck, private bar and ammenities. It can cater from 70 - 250 guests.

We don't have any on-site accommodation however, we are 10 minutes from Geelong where there is a wealth of accommodation options.
We have a list of trusted, expert vendors that we are happy to recommend. We also offer in-house styling, floral and coordination packages for that little something extra.
