Yes. So long as your candles are displayed safetly in votives/candle holders you can use them throughout the space

No. Ovolo will cater to all dietary requiremeents outside of your meal selections at no additional cost. We also include Alternative Drop as part of our menus at no additonal cost.

Yes, if you feel that beverages on consumption will be better for your event then you are more than welcome to select this option. A beverage menu must be agreed to prior to the event with your event manager. 

Yes, this is possible so please ask your event manager for options. 

Yes, Children up to 12 years of age will be offered a main & dessert on the day at a costof $38.00pp, which also includes a drink. 

Yes. Crew meals are at a cost of $38.00 for one main meal and one drink.

It is at the client's discretion as to whether they would like to provide crew meals to their suppliers. 

Depending on the size of your party we can make some room for the dancefloor. 

Just discuss the set-up with your Event Manager to see what can be done.

Yes, there is a $5.00pp cakeage charge. This applies to 1 cake per wedding. You can opt to have your cake served as dessert for a two-course menu or as an additional course. Either option will include service to the tables or distributed cocktail style.

Our wedding was the hottest day on record, with a tropical storm that went on during our ceremony. Originally we were happy to get married outside though so pleased we chose this unique space and ensured our guests were comfortable. The Nishi Gallery is a blank space with a white canvas wall, it really is an area for you to paint your picture.

This was the only honeymoon we were going to get, so we forked out a bit extra and stayed somewhere nice. Giant stone bath tub, enormous double shower and double vanity, big comfortable bed, with stylish art decorating all the walls, lounge room and beautifully presented dim lighting on entry. Not to mention, downstairs is Max Brenner (the same café we went the day he proposed). What an awesome way to wrap up the wedding.

Late night snack ideas for our wedding reception

Hi! We love the idea of the midnight snack at our reception for the late partygoers. What are some unique/fun ideas that our guests will love?

Hi lovely,

Our couples often order popcorns from Palace Cinema located in the same buiding! You can never say no to freshly made popcorn!! :) 

Alternatively, we offer grazing boards which can include dessert items, cheese and charcuterie.

On the day of the wedding who sets up the decorations at the venue?

Certainly depends on your chosen venue. At Ovolo Nishi, we suggest engaging with an external stylist to avoide any pressure on you or your bridal party on your special day. However, if you are DIYing your wedding, we can certainly assist you with the set up using items supplied by you as long as a clear styling instrunction is provided. And additional cost will occrur for this. We have seen some florists who also set up the tables with candles, etc so it would be a good idea to check with them too.



Hi, we are looking to elope. Most packages we’ve seen for venues come with a celebrant and photographer. We’d like my partners brother to perform the ceremony but as he isn’t a registered celebrant we had looked at doing the legal bits during the week at the registry office. We also don’t require a photographer as we already have one from previous events we’d like to use again. Most elopement packages come with both of these things as a must have inclusion. Any suggestions??

We don't have elopement packages as such, however we love creating bespoke packages based on your requirements. 

If you are just after a space to conduct the elopement, then look no further. We have stunning spaces available that you can hire for the day or even a couple of hours at a time. We will even throw in some celebratory bubbles, because why not?
