Completely. Yering Farm is a blank canvas with character—you can bring your own

stylist or choose from our recommended suppliers to create a look that feels uniquely

yours. However no permanent fixings such as screws are allowed.

You’ll be spoiled for choice—vineyards, open fields, rustic textures, old grain red brick

silos, winery backdrops and golden-hour backdrops all within walking distance. No need

to travel offsite and lose valuable time.

You’ll have generous access so your day never feels rushed—from getting ready

through to the final moments of your reception. As a rule during daylight savings (DST)

ceremonies can start from 4pm and during non daylights savings time (AEST)

ceremonies can start from 3.30pm.

Due to our liquor licence, all events must finish at 11pm at the latest.

Decorations can be dropped off to the venue the day before and we can assist with

something such as bonbonieres and name cards on the day of your wedding when we

set the tables.

We require all items to be removed the day after the wedding, preferably by 10am.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your pets for the ceremony.

Yes you are welcome to come in and do pre photos.

Our minimum numbers are 40 people

We have 2 church pews and 20 matching chairs and rustic signing table that you can

use for your ceremony. We also have wine barrels that you can incorporate into your

ceremony design also.

As well as the fixed lighting on the outside of the barn, we also have festoon lighting that

runs from the bar to the old stables.

Your suppliers can access the reception area from 3pm on a Saturday. For other days

of the week there is more flexibility.

Unfortunately, you can not bring your own alcohol or food.

Yes, for sure. It is a great way to mingle and get everyone involved.

The barn is fitted with both air-conditioning and heating.

Yes, you can have fire pits outside subject to local weather conditions and fire

restrictions. However, there is an additional expense for these.

Yes, Yering Farm is conveniently located in the Yarra Valley with ample onsite parking,

and we can recommend transport options to make things even easier for your guests.

While you have the freedom to create your day your way, we’re here to guide you with

trusted suppliers, advice, and support to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Our packages are designed to give you flexibility while covering the

essentials—exclusive venue hire, access to all key spaces, and use of the property for

your ceremony, photos, and reception. The packages include all food and beverages

as per the selected package and including all standard glassware, cutlery and crockery.

Some furniture is included; however you may be looking for a particular style or look,

which we can assist you with hiring in.

Of course—and we highly recommend it. Seeing Yering Farm in person is often the

moment couples know it’s “the one.” We are open 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm

and you can pop in when ever during this time to have a look around. Depending on

how busy cellar door is, we may or may not be available to discuss your wedding with

Yes of course. Our wines can be tasted in cellar door and our event partner Essential

Catering & Events runs menu tastings on a regular basis that you can book in for and

experience the food offering.

Dates are limited due to our exclusive-use approach, so we recommend reaching out

early. Once you’re ready, a 30% deposit will secure your wedding date.
