Glengariff Historic Estate gives you the convenience of holding your ceremony and reception in one location, with exclusive use of the grounds and a wet weather option included across its wedding packages. Kate and Brenden took over the family-run estate in 2026, beginning a new chapter for the historic property while continuing its focus on weddings and attentive service.
Packages cater to elopements, micro weddings and full weddings, with options for celebrations of different sizes. Depending on your package, inclusions can cover a wedding coordinator, styling options, a professional photo booth, an upgraded PA and sound system, yard games, plus a bar tab or drinks package. Catering is selected and quoted separately.
Wedding Packages at Glengariff Historic Estate
Glengariff Historic Estate offers elopement, micro wedding and full wedding packages, with options available across weekdays and weekends.
Elopement Package
Includes 20 guests, with a maximum of 30 guests.
Sunlit: Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm
Twilight: Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 7pm
Drinks included: $500 bar tab
Micro Wedding Package
Includes 40 guests, with a maximum of 50 guests.
Sunlit: Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm
Twilight: Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 7pm
Drinks included: $1,000 bar tab
Full Wedding Package
Includes 50 guests, with a maximum of 170 guests.
Mid-week: Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 10pm
Weekend: Friday to Sunday
Drinks included: 3-hour drinks package
All wedding packages include a ceremony area, reception area, exclusive use of the grounds, a wet weather option, a wedding coordinator, styling options, a professional photobooth, a bar tab or drinks package, an upgraded PA and sound system, yard games and much more. Catering is selected and quoted separately.
Nearby Accommodation and Transport
Nearby accommodation options include Dayboro Cottages, Peppers Clear Mountain, Blue Ridge Lavender Cottage and camping at Dayboro Showgrounds.
The Glengariff team can also organise coach transport options for guest pick-up and drop-off at central points around Brisbane, making it easier to plan travel to and from the estate.

Channing & Dan are the 6th generation to live, own and work on our family property. We are so happy that we get to share our beautiful venue that was once our family home with all our couples. We strive to create a perfect and stress free day and ensure our bride, groom and their guests are well looked after!

No. Glengariff offers full exclusivity, so only one wedding runs on the 30-acre estate at a time, and your ceremony, reception and photos take place without another event running alongside yours.
Yes. A wedding coordinator from Glengariff is with you in the lead-up to your wedding and on the day itself. This support is included as standard in every wedding package.
Glengariff can seat up to 170 guests comfortably for a sit-down wedding, or host up to 250 guests standing for a cocktail-style reception in the
Estate Room. Full weddings are based on 50 guests as standard, with an additional per-person charge for extra guests beyond that.
Yes, you can bring your own catering company if you prefer, since Glengariff has a
full commercial kitchen onsite, though most couples choose from Glengariff's three hand-picked catering partners instead, which cover a range of food styles
and price points. BYO alcohol is not permitted, since Glengariff is a fully licensed venue, with a full bar available for every wedding.
Yes. Glengariff has onsite parking for up to 75 cars, plus a dedicated bus lane that
can accommodate two 56-seater coaches, we can assist in organising coach transport making it easy for your guests to arrive and depart
together on the day.

Sunday Wedding?
We are looking at having our wedding on a Sunday. We would like it to fall on a long weekend but have found that the price is the same as a saturday. If it was to be a working monday in your experience have people left early or just not came altogether.

Glengariff historic Estate holds weddings any day of the week, Monday through to Sunday and average 150 weddings a year usually every Friday, Saturday and Sunday or more these days Thursday through to Monday. In our experience, it does not matter what day of the week the wedding is held on as all guests and bridal couple all seem to celebrate and party just as they would on a weekend. We have some couples say they are choosing a Sunday to have a long weekend wit the family first then wedding day on the Sunday.
