The view of the Brisbane river provides a breathtaking backdrop for both your wedding reception and wedding ceremony. Our expertise, quality cuisine, renowned service, and attention to detail will ensure that your wedding reception is a truly memorable occasion.

Our Event Coordinators have a friendly and personalised approach from your initial enquiry, through to the planning process and right to the day itself. A Banquet Supervisor will oversee your reception and a senior waiter will be dedicated to look after the bridal party.

An Event Coordinator is on duty Monday to Saturday for site inspections. Appointments are recommended.

Customs House was phenomenal! We were so fortunate enough to secure the River Room which opened onto the River Terrace over looking Brisbane River and the Story Bridge. Our wedding was small - only 40 guests. Sharon, the event co-ordinator with Customs House was so easy to work with and accommodated all our needs to make sure our day was memorable. From the moment guests arrived, the staff showed professionalism and a high quality of service. The Bride was greeted by Matt with a glass of Champagne. The food and beverage service staff were polite and attentive to each guest. A special mention to the quality and quantity of food - the menu selection made it difficult to choose, but everything we chose was of superior quality and delicious. I cannot thank the team at Customs House for their brilliant service.

Sophisticated, stylish and iconic. After looking at dozens of potential wedding venues in Brisbane and other areas in South East QLD, nothing even came close to Customs House. Stunning venue aside the team at at Customs House are what made for the most incredible celebration. If you are looking for a wedding venue like no other then definitely look at Customs House.
