I started Erin Whitty Illustrations in 2014 as a passion project. What began as a creative outlet has grown into my full-time focus — and an absolute joy. After a decade working in beauty editorial and illustrating for brands like Cartier and Tiffany & Co., I found my heart in weddings: capturing people at their happiest, most beautifully dressed, and completely themselves.
My work isn’t novelty sketching. It’s expressive, fashion-forward portraiture created live — artwork your guests genuinely treasure long after the champagne is gone.

I’m Erin — a Central Coast–based live wedding illustrator blending fine art with fashion-inspired portraiture. What began in 2014 as a small creative experiment has evolved into a career I genuinely love. I’m drawn to weddings because they bring together style, emotion and the people who matter most. My approach focuses on expressive brushwork, confident line and true likeness — creating artwork that feels elevated, personal and beautifully considered.

I typically illustrate between 6 and 12 guests per hour, depending on the package you choose.
The Signature Sketch option uses a clever shortcut that allows me to sketch more guests per hour while still capturing their fashion, hair, and accessories—resulting in beautiful, personalised keepsakes.
The Luxe Portrait Experience is a slower-paced service designed to capture facial features, fashion, and presence with care. Each piece is fully bespoke, offering an exceptional fine art result your guests will truly treasure.
Not at all! I work from quick photos taken early on in the event, so they're free to mingle, dine and enjoy themselves while I paint.
A beautifully hand-painted A5 portrait, ready to take home and treasure. All professional painting materials are used including quality paints, paper, and brushes.
Yes, absolutely! I create custom A5 paper tailored to your wedding styling, including logos, fonts, colours, initials, location and/or date. It's totally up to you what appears on your paper! If you would also like a themed background illustration or floral frame included, I can add this for you complimentary, as part of the service.
I'm based on the Central Coast NSW and regularly travel to Sydney, the Hunter Valley, South Coast and beyond. Travel fees may apply.
Absolutely! You will recieve a framed, A4-sized illustration on the day.
