About
Live Sketching beautifully combines various chapters of my life; utilizing my drawing skills from working in Classical Animation, expressing my love of fashion from the period I spent in Italy, and pursuing a quest for meaning which accompanies me throughout. I work full time as an artist exhibiting my original paintings in galleries, selling prints of my artworks, and sketching at weddings and events. In 2025 I sketched over 1000 people!

I take a quick photo of everyone on my device and create original custom painted sketches of you and your guests while you celebrate!
A6 or A5 art paper is customized with your wedding details for lasting memories with the option to scan.
The finished sketches are enclosed in clear cellophane envelopes for protection.
Your guests can take their sketches once complete or they can be reserved for you to pass on with your thank yous. Large numbers of guests will be completed off site and delivered to you within 2 weeks.

FAQ
It takes approximately 10 minutes per person on A5 size paper. I can complete about 6 people per hour whether they pose as individuals, or together in couples or in small groups.
It's recommended to have guests pose for photos when they arrive for the ceremony, which I reference to sketch from during the ceremony and reception, and they collect later in the evening upon completion.
30-40 people can be sketched on site and for numbers beyond this I will complete the sketches in my home studio within 1 week and deliver them to you to disperse.
I require a small table and chair at regular height in a well lit, undercover area.
For guest sketces I use an oil based pencil and watercolour or gouache paint on cardstock or bristol paper with your wedding information/logo printed on the front or back (your choice).
For the ceremony scene paintings and sketches I use oil based pencil and watercolour or gouache paint on hot pressed watercolour paper.
