Based on our website and listings, NK Weddings & Hires provide:

Planning & coordination tools

  • Full-service planning: They’ll manage everything from start to finish (booking vendors, timelines, logistics) so you don’t have to piece it all together.
  • “On the day” coordination: They’ll handle setup, execute the plan, ensure that the timeline flows on the wedding day itself.
  • Set-up service: They’ll take your design or style concept and do the actual physical setup (decorations, furniture, lighting etc).

• Styling & hire-inventory tools

  • Styling services: They’ll help you define the look & feel of your wedding — from table centrepieces to florals to venue draping.
  • Hire inventory: They have a range of items you can hire for your wedding — décor, furniture, tableware, signage etc.
  • One-stop vendor connections: They note that you don’t have to chase lots of different vendors because they have “everything under one roof” (planning + styling + hire) which simplifies things.

• Key benefits for you

  • They emphasise “stress-free” and “seamless” experience for couples.
  • They focus on attention to detail and style: “luxurious event styling”, “curated hire range”, “transform any space”.
  • They serve the Gold Coast, Brisbane and beyond (if that’s relevant for your location) though their listing on EasyWeddings suggests Sydney region.

? Useful tools/items you might pick

Here are some of the specific tools/hire items from their offering that might be relevant for your wedding:

  • Furniture/hire pieces: e.g., tables, chairs, lounges, other furniture items for ceremony or reception.
  • Decor elements: backdrops, draping, lighting, tableware, signage, centrepieces.
  • Styling consultation: help defining colour palette, mood board, design concept.
  • Setup + breakdown: the physical logistics of setting up venue, arranging items, then cleaning up afterwards.
  • Timeline and vendor coordination: the “flow” of the day, vendor arrival/departure, setup times.
  • Full planning service: if you prefer someone to handle everything (or most of everything) rather than DIY.

?? Things to check / ask

When working with NK Weddings & Hires (or any similar planning/hire business), you might want to ask/follow up:

  • What exactly is included in the hire inventory: a detailed catalogue of items, condition, costs, delivery/collection.
  • What the “full planning” vs “partial planning” vs “on-the-day coordination only” packages include (and the price difference).
  • Whether you (or the venue) need to provide anything (e.g., lighting, power, furniture) and what is their responsibility.
  • Delivery and pickup logistics: cost, time, what happens if setup is delayed.
  • What vendor relationships they already have (and if you are allowed to bring external vendors).
  • The style portfolio: Does their styling align with your vision (modern, rustic, luxe, minimal)?
  • Cancellation or adjustment policies (especially if date or guest numbers change).

A few great ones to keep you organised! We love using tools like Google Sheets for budget tracking, Canva for inspiration boards, and Aisle Planner or Zola for guest lists and seating charts. When you work with a planner, we often provide our own digital portal so you can view your timeline, vendor details, and to-do list in one place - no spreadsheets needed!

Some of the most helpful tools throughout the planning process are a budget plan, a vision board and a checklist.

They keep everything aligned, from the creative ideas to the finer details that bring it all together. But beyond the tools, what truly makes a celebration extraordinary is the human touch. A planner blends organisation with heart, transforming structure into stories and logistics into moments that feel effortlessly beautiful.

The most effective tool? A wedding planner of course :)

Think of us as your behind-the-scenes hype person, event producer, vendor liaison and problem solver, among many more things.

That being said, if you are navigating the journey yourself (with a glass of bubbles in hand I hope), here are some thoughts to get you started.

> A calendar is imperative to managing your deadlines and your stress. Add everything to your calendar and work backwards from your wedding date to input realistic deadlines.

> Sharable excel or Google sheets to track your budget and your o do list in real time. You can share your to do list with other important parties like any bridal party mebers who are helping you tick off the items on your list. Make sure you also include the contact details for all of your vendors in one easy to access place.

> Group chats so that everyone is across all of the important stuff and it saves you time only sending the message once. Don't forget to name your group chat so you know who you're talking to.

> RSVP & guest management websites help you keep track of who is attending as well as any special considerations like dietary requirements.

> Pinterest is great for inspiration but keep your budget in mind when you're scrolling.

> Canva is great for DIY invitations, menus and signage, make sure you're across the sizes and specs you require for printing.

> Obvioulsy Easy Weddings is your one stop shop for incredible vendors as well as lot's of tips and tricks so make sure you check out the webiste and read the posts.
