Read the contract!! OR ask for a contract to be drawn up between you and your suppliers so that everything is in writing and no one can change something they have previously said

Hi Love

It really depends on the wedding planners contract.

Some do refund, so long as you cancel in their cooling off period, and some don't.

Most wedding planners choose not to refund the deposit because they've booked that day off to you and it makes it diffcult for them to rebook someone else.

Hello,

Unfortunatly some vendors do not refund deposits. My advice is to make sure you check the contracts of all your vendors before signing and ask them to add it in. You can get wedding insurance that will cover refunds, again always read the fine print. This is why its great to hire a wedding planner, as they can negotiate for you.

Unfortunately, no.

We require a non refundable deposit so we can book in and secure your wedding date. It's our security in case a couple changes plans.

We get a lot of enquiries from couples who are wanting to book in a Wedding Planner or Wedding Coordinator and we are actually turning away business if another couple wants to book their wedding on the same date and we havent taken a deposit. If we do not take a deposit the couple can change their mind or cancel their booking.

Hope this helps

xx
