Jem Wedding Planners were wonderful to work with. Jess and Lisa were extremely helpful and responsive and aimed to tailor our wedding to exactly what we wanted at as reasonable cost as possible. They found the best deals around town (and online) and coordinated with other suppliers (who were also wonderful) to help bring our day together. Through all their hard work they took the stress off us and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Our wedding reception venue looked spectacular and we would highly recommend them if you want flexibility, economy and something a little bit special that is not a same-same, run-of-the mill wedding. Great! Had them for about a year to help plan my wedding. The really helped with getting discounts on most services. Managed our styling, equipment, lighting, flowers and found me an amazing make up artist. They set everything up on the morning, they did everything they could to help us and was always there when I was getting stressed.

Having a wedding on a weekday

We are having a Jewish wedding and as such are very limited to the days that we can hold the ceremony. I really don't like having it on a Sunday night so was planning to do it on the day before Australia Day so that everyone has the next day off. However, as the wedding will take place on a workday, how early is too eary to ask people to attend? P.S. sorry the category is so arbitrary. Had to just choose the least unrelated ??

Weekday weddings are awesome because you can generally save yourself a bunch of cash! People don't mind attending mid-week either, as it is a good excuse for a day off work. I think you should give people as much notice as possible (I would be sending save the dates now if this is for next year) so that they can apply for leave etc :)
