Can you plan a wedding in eight months?

Absolutely you can!!

All dependant on your preferred suppliers such as celebrant, venue etc but there is no reason why. We had two months for one couple and it was perfect.

We have three months to organise our wedding its going to be a casual simple event can it be done

we started about a month ago, the invitations are out and rsvp are nearly all back., The celebrants are going to be met this weekend and chosen the venue is booked with a basic outline given The whole event is casual layed back

Absoloutely can be done!! You've secured the most important suppliers.

If you need any assistance with on the day co ordination or suppliers please feel free to give us call.

Happy planning! - Vanessa (Valure Events)

Who can help us arrange a Melbourne public garden garden wedding and place nearby for reception?

Why do I need a wedding planner if my venue has a Wedding Coordinator?

Great question.

A venue coordinator will assist with everything from the start of your reception to the end. A planner will assist with obtaining suppliers quotes for you and will start their coordinating from the moment your day as a bride / groom begins. We will assist in ensuring all your suppliers are following the run sheet and bumping in at the times requested. A planner will be your legs on the day and ensure that everything runs smoothly from the second you awake for your big day. All of the behind the scenes setting up styling and co ordination is our job.  Good luck and I hope this helps answer your question.

Order of wedding speeches?

What is the usual order of wedding speeches? Does it go best man, dads, then newlyweds? I'm confused!

This is the traditional order of speeches, however its completely up to you both . Whether you wish to do a speech together or just let the groom speak ( it's all individual) and I don't believe there is a right or wrong.

  • Father of the Bride.
  • Father of the Groom
  • The Groom
  • The Bride
  • The Best Man

Hope this helps :)

Planning wedding from a different state any ideas on how to make the process easier?

We currently live in the Northern Territory and want to get married on the Gold Coast/Norther NSW next year cause all our families and friends are there and we love it, any advice on how to make the planning process easier?

I would recommend hiring a local planner to assist in the planning process as they already have their trusted suppliers and can scout venues for you et

Is it worthwhile getting a planner?

Is it necessary or can I do most of the work with my partner? What are the features and benefits of doing so or is it simply easier and less stressful?

Congratulations on your engagement Lizzie!

Every couple has a vision and a budget for their big day and you can most certainly plan your wedding yourself, however a planner has built great relationships with suppliers and can obtain a more affordable rate for you because of this. Secondly, do you want to be contacting all your suppliers on the day to ensure they turn up at the stipulated time and doing all the running around to ensure your venue is styled how you've envisioned or will you rely on a friend or family member? Just some things to consider. All in all, the choice is personal and a planner will ensure that if something doesn't go to plan then it will be rectified and you wouldn't even know it. I hope this helps and good luck x Vanessa

Am I supposed to feed and provide breaks for my wedding suppliers on the day?

Hey I was just wanting to find out what the protocol is for wedding in regards to breaks and feeding people such as photographers and djs. What are the legal things I need to keep in mind?

Hi Leah,

Congratulations! Great question you have asked. I think just as your wedding day it should be about what you both want and what is within your budget. However, having said that it is courteous to provide meals and breaks to suppliers who are with you all day such as photographer, videographer and the band and planners if they're attending the whole day, but again not compulsory.

I hope this helps and good luck with your big day! Enjoy xx
