What is the difference between a Planner and a Stylist?

They are not the same!

It is a common misconception that a wedding planner and a stylist are one and the same. They are two entirely different skill sets.

A planner is the logistical, operational & organised brain behind your day; the stylist is the creative force behind the look & feel.

A lot of stylists will market themselves as planners, and this may be true for the luxury end of the market, but for the majority.... they are either a planner OR a stylist.
