Hey there,
Key factors to consider other than what "cityscape" you might want as a background, are: the season & weather on the day, the time of day (taking shadows into consideration, as there are lot in the city) and perhaps most importantly I think - the variety of backgrounds you can achieve with the minimum amount of travel. For instance, I'd be thinking about which CBD locations give easy access (defined as: walking around in high heels) to cityscapes, parklands, river views, wide open areas, narrow alleyways.
It's always good to run these locations through prior to the day with drivers / car suppliers. Some CBD locations can be difficult to park in, particularly if you have a Limo. It will also give the drivers time to map out the most time effective & risk averse travel route, to maximise the photoshoot time.
All the best for your big day!

Hello,
I really like taking photos at the Melbourne Uni, around different cafes in the city (few good rooftop spots), the usual Laneways, Royal Exhibition Building and Botanical Gardens (just outside the city).
Good luck with everything :)

Hi Bride! Theres many beautiful spots in CBD depending on whether you are after city scape, architecture, gardens or laneways. This is usually something I go through with my couples and sometimes I go for a drive before hand to scout out the best spots! Hope that helps!
