It's so important to invest in a quality photographer! The moments captured on your wedding day cannot be reproduced, remember you get what you pay for. Quality images, customer service and value should be top of your list when choosing a photographer.  If your photographer can't provide a shoot list, do they really know what to shoot? The best of us have a list to follow to keep it simple and understandable for all. This list should be available on request for you to choose the photos you might want and offer an understanding of what photos will be taken, and one less thing to worry about.

Have a good plan in place with your photographer. Simply knowing what time of day you want to take your photos is important. This will have an impact on your photos, How will the sun effect your photos? Will it be bright direct sunlight high in the sky? Or will you pick a shaded area? So many amazing photos are let down with the sky turning white on a bright day as the camera can't cope with the vast range of light. It comes down to the photographer's skill to balance it out, and give your image that pop.  Are you shooting inside or out? Will the weather play its part could it rain? Are other couples using the area for photos? All important things to consider before your wedding day. 

Having a good agrement is a sign of a good photographer, remember a agrement protects both parties, and should be a written understanding between you and your photographer, well before your wedding day. I believe a good contract should raise questions about the photography. It should be simple enough to understand but cover all aspects of the photography. Remember you only get one chance to get it right.
