In the Light of Dark Photography

Sarah took the time to meet with us and get to know us on a bit more of a personal level, she answered our questions, offered ideas and provided solutions including little tips that we never would have thought of otherwise. We gave her a brief of the types of photos we wanted including a photo of some wall art that we wanted to use. Sarah located this for us in the city and suggested a second location which we loved. She researched the best light for both locations, suggesting a timeline for the wedding and photos that worked perfectly. My husband has a lot of experience in front of the camera due to his work but being in front of a camera as well as lots of people is always an awkward experience for me. We found Sarah to be very calming and down to earth and she made our whole wedding party feel at ease. Our daughter whom was a toddler at the time simply loved her. It really felt like we had another friend there with us throughout the day. Sarah did not miss a thing, even the small details she noticed and captured making the end product more personal. She managed to take the most natural and beautiful photos. We found Sarah to be is a wonderful photographer that we would not hesitate to recommend to any one. Every precious memory from our wedding was captured to perfection and the only problem we have encountered is trying to choose our favourites to frame for our house because there are just so many amazing shots. We were so lucky to have been recommended In the Light of Dark Photography from a friend, as having Sarah capture our day was one of the best wedding decisions that we made! Prior to the wedding Sarah caught up with us to get to know us, which resulted in our photos being very 'us'. Sarah put us at ease, as neither my husband or myself had any experience in front of a camera. Sarah's nature and reassurance with not only the photography aspect of our wedding day were much appreciated, and the continued service post wedding and recently in creating our wedding albums has been amazing.
