Hey I'm Dane, the owner and photographer of Reel Imagination. Before I get into the photography, here's a bit about me so you know who's behind the camera.
I'm 42, have 2 kids aged 8 and 6 and live on the Northern Beaches. My kids and I manage a veggie garden with all sorts of green delights, and we go to nippers every sunday morning first thing so they can learn beach safety. This might be TMI but i've had a few health scares over my life and have come to realise life is precious, too precious to spend not doing something you enjoy. I really love taking photographs and helping couples have beautiful memories and a fun experience that's relaxed, that hasn't changed for over a decade. It's very rare a couple won't be beaming after a photoshoot with me. Now the good and normal stuff, current subscriptions - Netflix, Disney (for the kids and star wars for me), Apple - currently making our way through Slow Horses with Gary Oldman, Severance and Pluribus.

Hi Bree, good question. Mostly all photographers will have a standard contract which states the usage and rights of both the couple and photographer of the photos after the wedding. Some photographers are stricter than others and will negotiate the usage.
Generally speaking, honest photographers will let you do anything you want with the images such as share and print, but they won't let you sell them for profit as they feel they're entitled to some of the revenue associated with the sale. It basically comes down to copyright of the images, most photographers will try to retain copyright so they can advertise their business and submit the photos in competitions, again for advertisement.
