Since she was 15, Aleisha Edwards wanted to be a fashion photographer. So began the studying, the late nights editing, the begging of friends and family to take their photos. Hi, I’m Aleisha - but you can call me Leish! I’m a Brisbane-based photographer and visual storyteller who is passionate about celebrating love in all its beautiful forms. The current turnaround time is about 6 - 8 weeks from the wedding day.
You will receive an online gallery which allows you to download your images directly. Depending on the package you book, you may also receive a custom box containing prints and a USB.
The last thing I want is for you and your partner to feel stressed and anxious on your big day - especially when it comes to your photography session! Trust me when I say that we will have so much fun together, you will forget I am even holding a camera in my hand! I will talk you through every step of the way and make you feel as comfortable as possible. I will even suggest some poses to make sure you’re both looking and feeling your absolute best and will give you direction to play around and to let your time together naturally unfold from there. My best tip is to try to forget about the cameras and remember why you fell in love!
If you’re up for recreating that famous, romantic scene from The Notebook, then I am too! There’s nothing more sensual than a little wet hair while you kiss and embrace each other in the pouring rain. Of course, I understand this might not be every couple’s cup of tea and I will make sure nothing gets in the way of making your big day (and your photos) extra special. Lovely clear or white bridal umbrellas come in handy when mother nature decides to make an unexpected appearance. Alternatively, we can scout a stunning undercover area to take your happy snaps!
