More than 10 eventful years ago, Joshua Huggett picked an ‘easy’ high school class, hoping for credit towards his university score. What he didn’t realise at the time was that art class was the beginning of his love affair with photography, which has now developed into a sought-after Adelaide business - Joshua Huggett Media. This Adelaide-based wedding photography company is known for producing exquisite wedding photographs, full of depth, warmth, and emotion. But, surprisingly, that's not the reason Joshua is a highly-regarded and beloved photographer - it's his personable manner.
Joshua is a naturally fun, spirited, and lively person, and brings this beautiful energy to each of his gigs - it makes for one entertaining portrait photoshoot. This easygoing nature helps his couples to relax and enjoy the moment, rather than overthinking about their posture or pose. As a result, Joshua's couples ease into the photoshoot, enjoy themselves, which effectively allows for some gorgeous candid photos of two people hopelessly in love.
While his couple photoshoots are a highlight, this unobtrusive photographer is also adept at capturing interactions without interrupting them with his camera - subtlety is his specialty. Hi! I'm Josh Huggett. I'm a 30 year old, hybrid shooting wedding photographer and videographer from right here in Adelaide. I have a 2 year old daughter named Violet, A staffy X named Taz, a Kelpie X named Siri and a fiance named Bianca! When I'm not working you'll find me camping, walking our dogs or in an abandoned building somewhere taking photos. I can't wait to meet you all!

FAQ
My goal is to get your wedding photos and videos back to you as soon as possible.
The average turn around on photos is about 6 weeks.
This is subject to bookings around that time.
Hybrid shooting meants that not only am I able to deliver stunning wedding photos but also incredible wedding highlight films as well.
On your wedding day I carry 2 camera bodies at all times, I also have a second shooter with me for all packages that have a highlight film attached meaning that when I’m getting the most important parts of the day on film they’re able to also capture it in photo form.

I am absolutely honoured to capture any LGBTQI= event. Love is love.
All that is needed to secure a wedding date is $500 deposit. Then the remainder of the balance is just due before the wedding date itself.
Of course, we can always try to arrange something else if this doesn’t suit at the time.

No two weddings will ever be the same so it would be crazy to think that a wedding package can perfectly match every wedding.
If you would like more of one thing and less of another let me know and we can create a custom package just for you!
I don’t, actually.
I take my wedding days very serriously and if I don’t think that we will be a good fit or if I believe that we won’t get along well, I may tell you that I’m not the best photographer for you.
When you’re getting married you need to be 100% comfortable with the people entering the dressing rooms, following you around the ceremony and documenting the reception. If we don’t have that connection I wouldn’t want to risk ruining your day.
Until further notice, all cancellation fees and rebooking fees have been waved for COVID related issues.
In the unlikely event that your wedding is postponed and I am not available personally on that day I will send someone out of equal or better photographic ability to cover myself on your wedding day.
All editing and deliveries will still be carried out by me, Josh Huggett.

As there are only so many Saturdays in a year unfortunately I do personally book up rather quickly.
So that all of the couples that enquire with Joshua Huggett Media are able to get the same customer care, image quality and care I personally hand train every single staff member that attends a shoot with me.
That means that whether I'm attending your wedding myself or one of my associate photographers is going on my behalf you can be sure that you'll be treated with respect, your images will look fantastic and they will all have the signature Joshua Huggett Media style.
