Nathan first started Melbourne Entertainment Company back in 2011. While holding a residency with Nova FM nationally for 6 years, he began building a team of fresh, cool & talented performers to fill a niche in the wedding entertainment market. Seeing many out of touch, un-cool and dated acts, Nathan saw an opportunity to keep weddings exciting and youthful. How do I have my say in what songs are played?

It's YOUR day! You can have a much or as little input into your playlist as you choose. We've developed a simple yet thorough consultation process so that all of your requests are carefully considered and professionally integrated by our music experts.

What is a DJ Band?

The decision to book a DJ or a band has long been the topic of discussion for couples. We believe that we have come up with an innovative solution to this problem: The DJ Band.

Adding a live element to an otherwise standard DJ set can create a unique, bespoke entertainment experience that will keep your guests raving for years to come. Our most popular additions to our DJ sets (in order) are: Singers, Saxophonists, Percussionists, Guitarists, Strings and Pianists. For the best experience, we recommend booking 2 or 3 live elements for your wedding.

Can I choose my DJ, Singer, Sax Player etc?

Of course!

After discussing your aspirations, we will recommend for your personal selection, a few choice DJs & exciting entertainers whom are available for your wedding.

OR if you spend enough time making decisions, you can leave this up to our expert's professional judgement.

What are your payment terms?

We require a 50% deposit made within 1 week of your booking confirmation, with the balance due 3 business days prior to your wedding.

What happens in the case of a performer falling sick?

Being a reputable Entertainment Company, we have never failed to provide our couples with ideal solutions in these unfortunate but occasionally unavoidable instances. We will go to great lengths to find a suitable replacement of an equal or higher calibre – as the show must and will go on!

Thanks to the entire crew at Melbourne Entertainment Co! From enquiries to bookings to questions, payments and contacts, the process was seamless. We had Jeremy multi-tasking at our wedding and he was brilliant! He played piano and sang during our ceremony, then again while guests were enjoying pre-dinner drinks. He DJ'd the night with some awesome music choices that had everyone dancing up a storm. This was all while MC-ing the event too! We had so many compliments from guests about his great work. She's lovely and charming and did an amazing job with DJing and doing vocals plus playing and/or singing , especially with our little guests' requests. <3 ;) Even though we had an intimate celebration, she kept the venue lively and nobody was bored. We engaged Melbourne Entertainment Co for our reception music after seeing one of their performers DJ and play sax at another wedding, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with our decision. Jeremy (DJ Jaaz) was both our DJ and saxophonist during the reception, and he was incredible! He brought so much energy to the night, keeping everyone on their feet from start to finish. Jeremy nailed our brief of fun, sing-along songs, blending old and new hits with European classics. A highlight of the evening was our first dance, where Jeremy played the sax over ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’—it was the perfect touch to an unforgettable moment.
