I'm a professional DJ that has worked in Melbourne and greater Victoria for nearly a decade. Michael (through Nova DJ's) was MC and DJ for my wedding. He was not our initial DJ as the previous one had cancelled on us - but the change was meant to be. Michael took the time to get to know us and what we wanted for the night. High level of professionalism, well spoken, exceeded our expectations and created a great atmosphere and vibe that lasted all night. We and our guests all had a great night, and by the looks of it so did Michael! Great to see a DJ loving what they do.

Mike stepped in at the last minute for us when our original DJ cancelled. Mike was incredibly professional, took meticulous notes on what we wanted, and executed our wishes perfectly. He checked in with us throughout the night (not too often, just the right amount!) to make sure everything was going how we wanted it to go, and was incredibly skilled with reading the crowd and creating the right atmosphere with his music choices.

Highly recommend Mike as a wedding MC and DJ. Very professional, played the music we liked, our guests had a great time throughout the night. He worked with us on the timeline of our wedding and made sure we additional backup songs to play. He did a great job with intros and announcements, he played all of the obscure songs we (incl. our guests) asked him to and had everyone dancing the whole time. He helped me work with the venue, caterers and the celebrant to make sure all of the various timelines aligned perfectly, so I never had to worry on my wedding day. Thank you again Mike.

Music ideas for straight after the ceremony

Music suggestions please! Trying to figure out an upbeat song to play after our vows when we walk back down the aisle together. Thank you.

If you mean the song that plays as you're leaving after the ceremony finishes, I personally love "This Will Be" by Natalie Cole; I was only asked to play it once but it stuck as my favourite so far!
