Hello! I'm Ellen, & I love music! I've had my own country music club night, Honky Tonk Town, for years - but I don't just love country! I'm passionate about folk music, pop, rock, indie....& more! In my daily life I love being out in nature on a hike, or getting cosy at home doing crafts. I love to travel, & have been to every continent, even taking my DJing across the world. I can't wait to meet you & bring my unique life experience & musical stylings to your wedding!

Of course! I love to make sure we’re on the same page about what kind of music you’re envisioning for your wedding. You can provide me with a playlist for inspiration, we can chat about genres, and whether you have any absolutely-must-be-played, or absolutely AVOID tracks. I’m happy to take direction on how you would like me to approach taking requests from guests (allowed or disallowed), and am adept at tactfully and professionally manoeuvring around any requests that won’t suit the mood. We don’t want to be killing the dancefloor or playing an inappropriate track, after all!
If you have a song from your cultural heritage that is special to you and your family, or a song that represents you as a couple, I’m more than happy to seek it out and play it on the big day. I love unique touches like that!
Of course, in fact I encourage it! I’m eager to get to know you both, along with your likes and dislikes, so that we can work together to make everything go as smoothly and as wonderfully as possible.
Sure can. If your venue doesn’t offer a sound system, I’m happy to provide lighting, PA system, DJ booth – the whole shebang – at an additional fee.
It’s just me! I’m not an agency which means I’m there with you every step of the way when it comes to the music and dancefloor part of the big day, including meeting and getting to know you, liaising with the venue to figure out any technical aspects, setting up, as well as doing the actual DJing on the day. You’re only dealing with me, which makes things that much more simple and more streamlined.
Unlike the big agencies, I’ll be truly invested, passionate and engaged when it comes to your celebration. You’ll never see me behind the DJ booth scrolling away on my phone!
As well as being one of Melbourne’s premier country music DJs, I’m also just an all-round music lover, so I’m able to cover a wide variety of genres, like pop, rock, indie, disco, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, from modern pop hits to golden oldies, as well as all different kinds of country such as honky-tonk classics to contemporary country.
