Yes! Though our instruments are acoustic, adding amplification ensures no matter the size of your crowd, we'll be heard.
Yes, however, within reason. As our instrumens are our pride, joy and income, we have strict clauses in place to ensure none of our equipment is damanged in the event of rain. We will always communicate clearly with every couple who wishes to have their wedding outdoors what we can and can't do in the way of performances on rainy days.
ALONDRA is an entertainment service based in Far North Queensland with options for acts. We offer solo, duo and trio options. We will always work closely with clients to ensure we can provide the entertainment service that best suits their needs and their budget.
YES! We love to provide our music to whoever wants us and we do not limit ourselves to just our region! As we're the only trio of its kind in Australia we are happy to bring our services to you, wherever you are in the country, or the world!
We sure can! The beauty of hiring three professional musicians is that we're all equipped with the skills to arrange music of almost any genre. It's important to us that each wedding is personal and tailored to each love story, and as such, we take great joy in arranging special song requests. We would say absolutely! And there are a few different scenarios/outlooks on this.
1.
If you're requesting "unpopular" music for your ceremony, your chosen musician may have the ability to "reimagine" the piece to suit the atmosphere. For example, classic early 20's emo favourites might not be considered a popular choice of music for a wedding ceremony, however, it was requested by a couple we worked with and we reimagined those works to suit the day and guests LOVED our take on these songs.

If you're wanting what might be considered "unpopular" music during your reception which your DJ will play, the beauty of it being your wedding is, well, just that! It's your day! If it represents you and your partner and the love you share, and it brings you joy you would hope the people in your circle love to see you happy and enjoying yourself!
