I have been a professional muscian for over 10 years, performing in Australia and overseas. I have played at countless weddings and private events. As an artist, my music has been played on Triple J, HIT105, NOVA FM, been #1 on Triple J Unearthed and I have won multiple national songwriting comepitions and a Queensland Music Award scholarship grant. I have played at festivals with some of Australia's biggest bands. I also have a degree in contemporary music.

Hi!
It's a good idea to try to book 6-12 months out, as availabilities can dry up. It also depends on how customised you would like the setlist etc. Hypothetically most acts if available could do a great show with a week or less to prepare, but it would probably be their regular setlist without much customisation in terms of song choice, songs to walk down the aisle to etc. Basically if you can, try to work on the safe side rather than rushing to find the right person at the last minute.
