FAQ

What do you need for your performing space?

We require a hard surface to perform on, adequate shelter from rain and sun, and an area to store my equipment cases on the night. We will perform ceremony and canapés hours on grass though. :)

Sound restrictions?

Please ask your chosen venue regarding their sound restrictions and we will do our best to respectfully work within their dB limits on the night.

Do you require electricity?

For Ceremony and Canapes, we use a battery powered speaker. However, for Reception and Party DJ, yes, we definitely need electricity.

Do you take live song requests?

Yes! With at least one month's notice, we are more than happy to learn special requests for your day (e.g. Ceremony Bridal Entrance / First Dance). For dances with any choreography, please use the original recordings.

Steph and Jordan were hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They performed live acoustic music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, and it created the most beautiful, intimate atmosphere from start to finish. Walking down the aisle to their live performance was unforgettable — it felt so personal and emotional in a way that recorded music just can’t replicate. Their sound was flawless, their harmonies were stunning, and they set the perfect tone for every part of the day. They even sent us audio recordings of our aisle song and first dance *before* the wedding so we could rehearse, which was such a thoughtful and helpful touch. It made us feel completely prepared and confident going into those big moments. When it was time to party, Steph seamlessly transitioned into DJ mode — and absolutely crushed it. The dance floor was packed all night. She read the room perfectly, kept the energy high, and made sure there wasn’t a dull moment. Guests have not stopped raving about how incredible the music was and how fun the dance floor felt. On top of that, Steph also acted as our MC, keeping the evening flowing smoothly and making announcements effortlessly. We were so lucky to have Steph sing at our wedding during the ceremony and cocktail hour. She very kindly offered to learn a new song for our processional which sounded absolutely beautiful. Her song list for the cocktail hour was incredibly extensive and her voice was exactly what we were looking for. We couldn't recommend Steph more highly!

I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for Steph and the incredible role she played in our wedding! Not only did she completely exceed all my expectations during the canapés and reception, but she also stepped up to cover the ceremony last minute when our original singer had to cancel due to illness—just 24 hours before the big day! Steph was such a calm, reassuring presence when I found out the news, and she went above and beyond, learning a new song that was deeply meaningful to my husband and me, all in the space of one night. When I heard her sing that song during the ceremony, it was absolutely perfect—it brought tears to my eyes. Throughout the day (and even long after the wedding), we received countless compliments on her stunning voice. People kept saying how beautifully she nailed so many different styles of music. For the canapés, Steph arranged a perfect three-piece band that created the ideal atmosphere, adding a sophisticated and welcoming vibe. Later, for the reception, she put together an amazing five-piece ensemble that kept the energy alive and ensured everyone had a fantastic time. She was truly the perfect fit for every part of our day, and that’s thanks to how much effort she put into understanding my vision, expectations, and the vibe I wanted for each section of the event. Hi! Absolutely - for DJ sets we encourage our lovely couples to provide a Spotify playlist of suggestions for vibes and we will curate our sets around this - mixing in both popular songs to keep the party engagement as well as your perhaps not so well known tunes in to satisfy your musical ear :) For live performance we have a limit on special requests depending on the length of booking but are happy to learn 3 songs for ceremony and 2 songs for reception. :)
