Forty20 is more than just a live band — it’s a collective of some of Queensland’s finest musicians with impressive backgrounds in the industry. Yacc, one of our talented members, was part of an award-winning agency and was nominated for Band of the Year at the 2025 QLD ABIA Awards, showcasing his dedication and excellence in performance. Wayne and TJ bring their incredible talent from their time with the award-winning group Random, the band that won X Factor Australia. Their experience and energy add a unique edge to every performance, ensuring your wedding is unforgettable. The rest of the band comprises some of the best musicians in Queensland, each bringing their own expertise, passion, and professionalism to create a truly exceptional live music experience. About
Yacc Fonoti is a singer, guitarist, DJ, and producer with nearly 20 years of industry experience. At 35, he’s been part of an award-winning agency and was nominated for Band of the Year at the ABIA Awards last year with his former band. Born in New Zealand and inspired by his father, a founding member of The Herbs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Yac has performed at over a thousand weddings. He knows what it takes to make your special day perfect with energy, professionalism, and heart.

We are highly flexible with our lineup, ranging from a duo to a 7-piece band, to suit your venue, style, and budget.
Absolutely. We’re happy to travel to your wedding or event location, anywhere in Brisbane or beyond.
We require only a 10% booking fee to secure your date. The remaining balance can be paid one week prior to your wedding.
Yes! We offer professional DJ services to complement our live performances and keep the party going all night.
While we love R&B, we cover all genres including pop, rock, country, reggae, and all the party classics. We tailor our playlist to suit your preferences and ensure a fun, energetic atmosphere.
We can cover your entire wedding day, which is usually up to 8 hours. This includes 4 x 45-minute live sets spread throughout the day, with DJ sets in between. We also offer ceremony-only and reception-only packages to suit your needs.
