Hi Miles,

That is very exciting, congratulations!

How much you spend and how many carats you choose for your engagement ring is completely personal and up to you. You could spend from five thousand all the way up to 20, however we have found that the average spend in our store for engagement rings is around $8000. This price will get you a beautiful quality 0.70ct diamond in a stunning setting. If you were wanting a slightly bigger stone like a 1 carat you would be looking at spending around 15 thousand for great quality and colour.

If you have a particular price range in mind, the team at Starfire Diamond Jewelley can source you an excellent quality diamond from our diamond wholesale business to cater for it. If you are also unsure of what style engagement ring to go for we like to recommend a halo setting. This is an engagement ring with a center stone surrounded by smaller diamonds. This emphasizes the center stone making it appear 20% bigger and much more sparkly! If you would like to read more about this visit our website and read our blog titled "The Halo Ring".

Hi Miles, congratulations on such an exciting time! Temelli engagement rings start at $2000, we find the most common spend is between $5000 - $8000, but it all depends on your budget and what you're comfortable spending. We guarantee she will love he ring regardless :) A half a carat diamond is also a very popular size for many couples

Hi,

Just so you know, there is no really "correct" answer for this question, this is entirely personal. For example, if you are swimming in money, spend a lot, if budgets are a concern, spend less, this obviously means you'll get something bigger by spending more, if you have a specific design in mind, think more about what will look good on your fiancés ring finger. I can help you with all this if you like, feel free to contact me via my website if you need.
