Hi Eleni,

If you want a completed classy finish, then professional printing or calligraphy is the way to go. A friend or family member with beautiful writing can handwrite on the envelopes but I recommend checking with the invitation designer to see if they include it as part of their service.

If it's included or it's within budget, I say go for it! If you decide to handwrite on them, make sure you get lots of spare envelopes for any mishaps.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Hi Eleni,
It is always a lovely touch to have your envelopes printed, especially if you feel you're handwriting is not the best.
It is not usually a standard service, but an optional extra, that you can choose to have.
We find alot of our couples like the envelopes printed for them, and we also include printing their return address as well.
Hope this helps, let me know if I can answer anything else for you.

Happy Wedding Planning!

Hi Eleni,

If you have a beautiful handwriting you might want to write the addresses yourself. Another option is to pay a calligrapher/ hand lettering artist to do this on your behalf.  Most designers have an envelope addressing service of some kind - you might have to pay extra for the service or it might be a complimentary service. My envelope addressing service is free of charge for standard ink colours (White toner printing is not included)

Thank you for your question!

Hi Eleni

Its completely up to you if you would like the envelopes handwritten or printed, there are no rules these days when printing your wedding stationery.

Elliefont offers printed envelopes as part of its standard service so if you do choose to get your envelopes printed you won't incure any unexpect charges.

If you have any other questions please let me know, I'd love to help you.

kind regards

Hi Eleni!

It's totally up to you, what your budget is, and whether or not you're willing to DIY it.

Most invitation companies (us included) can print guest names onto envelopes for you, however many of our customers hand write the addresses themselves. You can also hire a local calligrapher to hand-write names with a nice pen (for example, a metallic silver or gold pen can look really nice).

We also have some address "editable templates", which you can edit and print yourself. Please let me know if I can help you find our address templates or if I can help with anything else :)

Kind Regards,
Daniel
