Great Question! I recommend the RSVP date to be atleast 6 weeks before the big day, this gives you enough time to chase up late Rsvp's, finalise numbers for your venue (generally one month notice needed) and your on-the-day stationery items such as place cards and seating charts which need to be personalised, printed and delivered.
