What's the average cost for wedding invitations?

Looking at getting roughly 85 invitations done. I'm trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. What's the average cost.

Hello!

The cost of the invitation set will depend on the style/design you are wanting - invitations can range from $4 upto and probably beyond $20.

I would be happy to provide a no obligation quote on your invitations to give you a ball park figure for your stationery - then you have a solid figure to assist you with what will or will not fit into your budget. :)

Hello Belinda,

Thank you for your question regarding wedding invitations and our congratulations on your upcoming event!

As others have mentioned, there is some variation in pricing due to cardstocks, sizes and additional accessories (i.e. envelopes, guestname personalisation, magnetic strips, envelope seals and envelope addressing), but generally speaking printing can be as low as $2-$4.50 each. With Lovestruck Invitations the prices include one-on-one proofing from a Designer, and you can request changes (i.e. alternative colours/sizes etc) for no additional fee. It always pays to ask for a discount before you place your order too!

Let us know if you would like any further information!

Our wedding invitations range from $3.95 right up to $7.95 and beyond. For 85 standard invitations you would be looking at a minimum price of around $336 for a print and cut price (DIY) which includes free postage. You could also customise one of our standard invitations to make it a little cheaper.

Hi Belinda.
Digital is by far the leading price range, and paper/cardstocks and size & style (folded, pocket, flat single or double sided) can also vary the price too. Our pricing starts from $3.95e including envelopes and guest name personalisation for single sided flat. Printed digitally and on specialty card (not paper). We also have package pricing (invitations + rsvp, wishing well or information cards) which save 20% off the individual pricing. Talking to local experts will definately make sure you know what you are getting and most invitation companies will be only too willing to send out samples and tweak designs to suit.
Wishing you the best in your search and if we can help please let us know. Jo - Inviting Invitations

Hi Belinda,

Great question! The price of an invitation is based on:

1. The number of cards per invitation

2. Materials involved in making the invitation (ie. Sparkling embellishments, ribbons will cost more)

3. Labour involved

Handmade invitations usually begin at around $4 and can go up to $20 depending on the style.

If you don't want to have them made for you, another great alternative would be to find a design you like on Etsy and print them at a printer or at home.

Otherwise please get in contact with me if you don't want to make them yourself. I can quote you based on the style you like. A lot of my brides send me Pinterest boards so that I can get a feel of the theme and style they want.

Cheers,

Lava

Hi Belinda,

In regards to pricing, generally our invites can start from as low as $4 each and can go up from there, depending on how much embellishments there are on the invite! Most of our invites generally range between $6-$15. All stationery is designed to suit your invitations also!! We absolutely love to work around budgets so we can design something that best suits what you want and still fits in with what you have set aside for your stationery.

Hello Belinda,

I do custom letterpress wedding stationery as a rough guide, if you would like to order a custom invitation and co-ordinating envelope, a rough price guide for my design and letterpress printing service is approx $5 each. This is for a custom designed, single colour letterpress invitation and co-ordinating envelope, you can choose the colour I print in and the colour of the envelope.

As you add on extra cards (RSVP, wishing well) and extra services (hand lettering addresses on your envelopes, letterpress tags for belly bands) your package price will increase. I would be happy to help you further with a quote, please just contact me with your specific stationery needs.

Cheers
