Hello!
They definitely can! You can utilise the website for your RSVP's and for any other bits of additional information that guests may need to know, which eliminates the need for information cards.
You can place the website address on your invitation and advise them that RSVP's and additional information is available on the site.
You can also carry your design theme across from the invitation to the website (or vice versa) to keep everything consistent. I have had a bride use a wedding website recently for her wedding and she found it worked really well for her. :)
Congratulations!

Hi :)
Wedding websites are so popular these days and yes, they can work perfectly together with your wedding invitations. Wedding websites are usually used for RSVP's & additional information. Some guests (especially older ones) would still prefer to RSVP by postcard or phone.
Your wedding invitation can be in the same (or similar design) to your wedding website, including the most important information. The website can then list all the additional info that might be too cumbersome to put on an invitation.
Most wedding guests still prefer to have something tactile to hold onto as a quick reference, so it's great to have both.
If you have any questions about this, please contact me and I can give you examples!
Cheers,
Lava

Hi there,
yes they can work together. Your invitation can have the link to the website or RSVP area and they can be made to have the same design theme, keeping everything looking consistant. I do worry about older guests who don't have the internet, so you may need to take that into consideration when asking guests to visit the website for certain things.
An other thing to think about is if you're having directions to the venue, people don't always have internet access if they are out of range (eg for a country wedding etc.) so you may still need to have additional cards in along side your invitation if that makes sense. :)
I have lots of other ideas that could be helpful to you, so feel free to give me a call or send a message if you'd like to chat further.
Good luck :)
