Hey there :)

I agree with the previous answers.

When is your wedding? Is it a destination wedding?

Most wedding couples send their invitations out 2-6 months ahead of their big day. However if you're having a destination wedding, then 6-12 months ahead is usually best.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance :)

We would say, you know your guest best!

Should there be guests that have to travel internationally or through states, it is always best to keep your guests well informed in advance so that the necessary bookings can be made to get to your special day with ease.

A good phone call over the phone to notify them as soon as you have your venue booked is well encouraged so that they can book their travel flights. Then you'll only need to send formal invites out to your international guests 4-5months in advance to create excitement and buzz!

Should all of your guests be local, a good timing to send out your formal wedding invitations would be 3 months prior to the wedding date. These guests should be well notified in advance still through your save the dates.

We hope this helped! Peep Designs is always HAPPY to share more! :)

Hello there! This is a very personal decision and I think there is no right or wrong. My thoughts are: why not? How early do you mean? Is your wedding a "destination wedding" where lots of planning is required? We have many brides sending invitations almost 20 months before the wedding to avoid sending a SAVE the date card, or to give their guests more time to plan financially. We also had cases when the couples wish to know early who is coming to their weddings, as they have "second-tier" guests they would love to invite if their first lot cannot make it (usually for financial reasons). Many weddings, many situations but I think that yes, you can. Why not. :)

Warm Regards!
