Depends on the HALL - yaught club, Surf Clubs, Community Halls hire fees can be cheaper than marquees.
For Weddings -marquee size depends on type of wedding -seated, cocktail style, dance floor, and number of guests.
There are so many factors that impact cost and it ultimately comes down to what you want to included as part of your ceremony / reception.
Marquee means you have total flexibilty with location, layout, vendors and can scale the wedding.
