Being a qualified hairdresser for up styles or down you do not need a perm... I find a perm will always make hair look dry. I have done curly hair looks and always find curling hair for a perm look is better or to get body I use rollers or curl hair for hight on top. I would say no to a perm. You don't need to damage hair before a wedding.

As long as you've done a test strand (which is all clear) and it's done a minimum 3 days before the day (but ideally more like a week or more) it should be fine

Hey lovely!
I think without having too many details it's a hard question to answer.
If you get regular perms usually and you are wanting to use it so you have a more natural curl with body look than yes totally fine of course make sure it's done by someone you know specialises in perms!
Otherwise if it's something that you're not wanting long lasting and you think it's just going to that help with the wedding then I don't think it's necessary at all your stylist should be able to re-create the best look for you without the help from the perm.

I hope this helps and good luck xx

Hi, I'd suggest to get the hairdresser to do a test strand a few months before you do a full head perm
