Lucy is an freelance Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist and the proud owner and founder of Lucy Carter Hair and Makeup and has been working in the UK and Australia since 2007. Lucy spent 7 years in Melbourne and now resides in Perth WA, she currently works between Perth, Melbourne and the UK.
Lucy has an outstanding career of over 10 years. Lucy prides herself for creating fresh, flawless skin which she is renowned for. Lucy’s work reflects her artistic talents, which coupled with her attention to detail, produces a stellar result.
From commercial to editorial , Lucy is equally in her element creating everything from subtle minimal looks to radical transformations. “ seeing a transformation unfold before my eyes whether it be simple or something more avant garde, is what drives my passion for both hair and makeup."

Lucy is highly adaptable, with her wide range of knowledge in the industry this gives her freedom to work across editorial, fashion, advertising, film, television, bridal and celebrity.
Lucy’s work has been seen in the pages of Elements Magazine, The Lane, The Fashion Advocate, Flawed Magazine, Frai Magazine, The Daily Mail Online. She has also had the honour of working with some amazing musicians such as Aussie pop Icon Missy Higgins, Kita Alexander, Okenyo and Brendan Maclean.
Her clients include some amazing brands and designers such as, De Lorenzo, Target, Triumph Lingerie, Tres Semme and Alkaline Lane. Lucy has also had the pleasure of working with many talented photographers such as, Glen Krohn, Blessed Pixels - Morgan Macleod, Karen Woo, Nicole Corbett, Erin & Tara and Raex Murillo to name few..
