It would depend on the size of your bridal party and the amount of time you have. If you have a big bridal party it is better to get one for hair and one for makeup that way you and them won't be pressed for time. I usually offer my brides for me to engage a hair stylist I usually team up with so they don't have to do the searching. If it's only say 3 - 4 girls and it's an evening ceremony you can opt for one that offers both services which is less stressful as ur only dealing with the one artist..

You can purchase non transferable lipstick.. when I do my bridal trials my bride will decide on her lip colour and I will go purchase the lipstick for her and she can purchase it off me on the day of her wedding that way if any touch ups are required during the day she has the lipstick on hand...

how do i make sure my makeup looks good all day?
I've seen wedding photos where the bride's makeup ends up looking terrible by the night time. how do I avoid this? I'm hoping to have a photoshoot during the night so I don't want my makeup to look awful... should I get my makeup artist to come back at night, or should I do my own touch ups?

Best thing to keep your makeup at its best is finding the makeup artist with the right products.
Some may not have pro long wear makeup there for it can wear off quicker.
Also a good setting spray can go along way :)
