You can always look into getting Silk flowers for the wedding day, which are very budget friendly and it also looks as full and beautiful as fresh flowers.

I say keep it simple. You'll be surprised how usining simple florals can go a long way in the right type of design.

Sometimes we even underestimate how foliage can look on its own and how it can completely transform the space.

The only way I know of is by hiring a professional to do it. It may cost more if you hire someone inexperienced or try to trial & error many things out...  In theory, using seasonal flowers and mixing foliage or mixing artificial with fresh flowers would reduce cost but how to really do it (I.e. what proportion to use and what arrangement to make) I think it’s best to let the florist (floral designer) work this out. We work as wedding stylist and florist and choosing the best flowers at their best prices then working out the mechanics, material & labour cost required to give our clients the most cost effective solution is 80%-90% of our Floral & Styling work.

Flowers are a living product, they grow in different seasons and come with different prices, all depending on availability and quality, as a florist, I like to inform my clients, that picking their floral theme, according to their budget, should be like walking into a jewellery store, where you could purchase gorgeous jewellery, for different prices, according to the value of the gems.

At flowerun, we always ask the client "what is your budget for flowers for this event", and then try to accommodate the budget with the client's vision.

To get cheap wedding flowers would be to go artifical flowers! I make artifical flowers arrangements that are made with silk flowers that feel real to touch and look real. There are alot of artifical flowers that you can choose from and you dont need to wait for a particular season for them you can have whatever flower you desire! I think if you wanted to have cheap flowers alot of brides use Kmart flowers, although I dont for my bouquets. Also search artifical flowers on Ebay they have alot of silk flowers that seem real.

Hi

My best advice would be to use seasonal flowers and increasing foliage for maximum impact- hope this helps

Using some quailty larger bloom flowers that will give a beautiful luxury feel mixed with a little more foliage is always a good way to keep costs down. Also going for a relaxed bouquet rather than a tight formal bouquet will keep costs down.

Talk to your florist, a good florist will give you a deal if they are doing your wedding flowers. They may throw in extras or a discount. There are many ways to make a bouquet look amazing that will not cost the earth.

Don't always ask for cheap flowers as you do not want flowers to fall apart. Flowers have to be premium, top grade flowers.

Photo's are for life so you want your flowers to be the best.
