Bouquets to match my oddly coloured wedding dress

I am getting married in February 2017 and I am looking for inspiration and pricing on what colour flowers would go well with my vintage rose coloured wedding gown and navy blue bridesmaid dresses - I am at a loss! Please help!

Hi Victoria, The use of foliages in the bouquets will definitely keep with the vintage style and match well. If you're not into greenery, a silver foliage would also work well with the colour of your dress as well as the Navy dresses. I would suggest the variety to be in the different textures of the flowers rather than the variety of colours for a vintage look. Grandiflora have a rose called 'Antique' that is a beige/mauve colour, perhaps this rose with white roses, white tiger lilies, babies breath and foliage (silver or green) might work as a good vintage combination. Of course, less variety in the flower choice will keep a more formal look. All the very best! Trish

My rule is. If you can't match a colour, choose a contrasting colour instead.

My suggestion would be to choose 2 or 3 vintage, dusty pink couloured flowers. Use the same colours in the brides and bridesmaids bouquets.

Blue is always extreamily difficult to match.

Hi Victoria, For your Vintage rose coloured wedding gown I would suggest a bouquet of ivory & pink (shade dependant on your dress) roses, with a base of silver dusy miller or silver gum foliage. Filler flowers would be also pink and include such florals as veronica & hypericum berries. To complement the bridesmaids navy dresses, I would use the same foliage base and have ivory roses with blue filler flowers such as veronica and sea holly. While your bouquet could have ivory/pink ribbon, the bridesmaid bouquets could have navy ribbon to tie it all in.

Good morning and congratulations, in answer to your question, there are flower spray paints that come in navy if you wanted to co-ordinate difficult colours and mix those with your white or ivory roses which could help you as well. All the best for your big day. Best regards, Kathie

hi there,

Thanks for the enquiry,

In regards to coloured flowers to match the dresses, I would need to see the shades of the colours to help match, as there are so many different shades of navy :) you could go with cream/whites with pinks and blues dusty blue foliage ect or green and whites, also with costings please be aware of the time of year/date your wedding is, 2 days out from valentines so the cost of flowers my end are more expensive. Esp roses.

??

Thanks Danielle

I would suggest a base of ivory seasonal flowers with touches of caramel/gold tones. Grey foliage would also compliment this perfectly
