OVERVIEW
Hi There! Im Letisha, the owner and creative director behind Kisschasey Wedding Flowers.
I’ve been in the floristry world for over 30 years & love expressing myself through creating beautiful blooms. Whether its crafting the perfect wedding bouquet or bringing your full floral vision to life, creating wedding and event flowers is one of my favourite things to do.
I’ve learned to trust my own style, but I’m always excited to take on my clients’ vision and add my own unique twist to help bring your dream wedding to life.
So if you're planning your wedding or event and you’d like to chat all things flowers, then reach out and we’ll see if we can create some floral magic together.

About
I'm a mother of four and passionate about my family. My father was a musician and my mother, an artist so I have a fairly mixed personality encompassing both my mothers & fathers creativity and passion for art. I've been creating beautiful blooms for 30 years & the more freedom for interpretation my brides allow me the more creative I feel I can be. When I'm not blooming I'm usually renovating, I love starting with a visual mess and creating something practical but visually beautiful.

FAQ
As each wedding is completely individual, no two weddings will look the same or cost the same, including your blooms.
Cost is completely dependant on your style, taste and budget and how important flowers are to enhance the asthetics of your wedding.
If you are on a budget I would suggest using your flower budget on bouquets as your bridal bouquet will be one of the most photographed parts of your wedding.
You can also dtich the boys or parents buttonholes & corsages if your budget is tight.
You can always compromise on reception blooms and use something simple or use candles to fit within your budget.
The most cost effective way for choosing flowers for your wedding day is to be open to using "seasonal blooms" in the colours you choose and allowing your florist to choose which blooms will create the style you want with the most cost effective blooms available the week of your wedding.
Seasonal blooms are usually more cost effective for your florist to purchase rather than blooms that are in season elsewhere in the world that need to be imported.
Give your florist some idea of what you love, using inspiration pics and some details, but then trust your florist to interperate your ideas creativley.
After all being a creative with few or no rules is where the magic really happens.
If you are using an experienced florist who knows how to care for your blooms in the days leading up to your wedding,
then you will be assured that your blooms will arrive to you looking fresh, perky and amazing.
As fresh blooms are not designed to be out of a water source for extended periods of time, then giving your bouquets a drink during the day (if possible, during photos etc) will ensure they stay looking fresh late into the night.
Popping your bouquets into a vase at the reception will also help them last the night.
Please note that some smaller finer, or floater blooms may wilt slightly, but that just adds to the organicness of fresh blooms.

Get Expert AdviceWhat’s best for a wedding in December, fresh or artificial flowers?
My son and his fiancée are concerned about the flowers wilting due to warm or hot weather.
Kiss Chasey Wedding Flowers
Hello Francis,
i would say if you are using an experienced florist, and your flowers are prepared and reconditioned well by him/her then fresh will survive and bloom beautifully without wilting or disappointment.
Although I personally provide either, I believe fresh flowers always offer more sentiment, luxury and emotion.
cheers Letisha
How far in advance should I organise the flowers?
Kiss Chasey Wedding Flowers
at least 12-18 months in advance, particulalry if your wedding date is at a popular time of year. Most "have to have' vendors get snapped up quite early. If flowers are an important part of you day/vibe, then the sooner the better.
regards Letisha :)
How much is the average to spend on wedding florals?
Hi, we were hoping to have a 'budget' wedding but it is proving harder than we initially thought. We want to have a wow factor venue with floral and styling but not sure how much is needed to be spent to achieve a 'wow' vibe.
Kiss Chasey Wedding Flowers
There is no average dollar value but depending on how important floral are to you, approximatley 10% of your overall budget.
