FAQ

This is a tough one as each wedding if so unique. A 'true' average doesn't really exist.

Flowers are a luxury item, and quite frequently, it is the first time a couple will be ordering florals in such large volumes.

I would say that most couples spend between $2,500 to $10,000 on flowers for a wedding with roughly 100 guests. Generally speaking, it is wise to allocate 10% or so of your overall budget.

Please have a read of this fantastic article by Kathleen at Little Bird Bloom. It breaks down the most common costs in a very pragmatic way and can guide you on how you may want to allocate your flower budget.

Indeed I do.

I can recall being a bride myself five years ago and finding it quite challenging to work out how much things cost and getting lost in a sea of quotes...that I inevitably put off looking at....

I have created the guide so that costs are fairly explicit and allows a couple to make an informed decision about what floral pieces to prioritise.

Please hit the 'Enquire Now' button and we can send it your way!

Of course, this is one of my favourite parts of the job.

At Floral Rebellion we seek to acquire locally grown flowers both to reduce our carbon foot print but also to support our local growers who work incredibly hard out in Monbulk.  Imported flowers have also become far more expensive during the pandemic!

Hence, our preference is to work with seasonal flowers, and we have an extensive knowledge of what is available and affordable at various times of the year.

Bear in mind, some flowers like Peonies grow during a very a short window of time and when choosing your date it might actually be useful to know what's available if your heart is set on a particular flower!

Gaya, thank you so much for putting together the floral arrangements of my dreams!! When Gaya arrived with the beautiful bouquets on my wedding day, I got teary just at the sight of them. Gaya is such a talented florist and also very attentive and thoughtful. She really listened to our ideas and was flexible with the floral design. The passion and effort that Gaya pours in to her floristry really shows in the arrangements she made. She was also very kind to allow us to borrow several decorative items for the wedding. Gaya was great with communication and absolute pleasure to work with. I couldn’t recommend Floral Rebellions enough!

Cannot recommend Floral Rebellion enough! Gaya creates stunning arrangements, and will go way above and beyond to fulfill whatever vision you might have for the event. I dried my bridal bouquet and still display it now. Also very reasonably priced, which is a great bonus. Would highly recommend for anyone in Melbourne.
